As you head towards the bog, something becomes clear. There aren't many electric types around, besides the stunfisk infesting the murky waters. It is unclear if there even is anything else in there, honestly.

Luxray nods and Nurse Joy seems to be very embarrassed. "I shouldn't have asked those questions.." she mutters. Luxray flicks his tail back and forth, sweeping a little bit of dust off the floor. Tepig stands besides you, nervous, as if Luxray could attack them at any time.

I trust you sort of, but please don't bite.

aaaLuxray slowly sweeps his tail across the floor, sweeping a bit of dust out of the way. I hear Nurse Joy mutter something off in the distance, but I don't pay quite as much attention to her as I could have.
aaaTepig stands beside me, taking a step forward, then back every few seconds as a way to counter his nervousness. "You can stand near the wall or something if you don't want to be too close to Luxray," I tell him. Tepig nods but doesn't leave and I mentally applaud his bravery.
aaaI hide my hesitance quite well in my opinion as I lay a hand on Luxray's back. I feel it stiffen, but it doesn't make any move to attack. "Um, this'll sting a bit," I warn Luxray who growls in acceptance. Slowly, I move my other hand towards Luxray's tail and begin to spray.

Spark applies the potion on Luxray!

There was a hesitance as he entered the room and was immediately greeted by
a scorbunny. He paused as he glanced down at the pokemon now peering up at him with beady eyes. He was not used to pokemon being that forward when approaching him, in fact he tended to move too fast so was worried he would even get a partner today.

He paused as he knelt down as close to the pokemons level and smiled a little "hey buddy, what do you think of the name Inferno? I could use a partner like you". He was expecting hesitation on the bunnys part but there didn't seem to be any. It jumped up and down softly "Scor, scor!". Sounds like a yes to me.

For a moment he didn't know what to do, or how to even handle the pokemon but it made the decision for him by deciding to hop and sit over his shoulder for the time being, he knew it would want a run around soon enough. "so, what's the plan 'ferno?"

Dakota looks straight ahead then to the right before jumping off her shoulder and runs towards the left, waiting for her to follow. "Chim-chim!"
