[Velveteen Hound.]

Gizmo got to play in the snow for the first time today. He thought it was pretty great, I wish I had had my phone. He was doing the stereotypical trying to catch the snowflake bit.

For a dog that does not like the rain, or cold , I didn’t think he would like it. He sure showed me xD

im getting a labrador puppy on february 24th !! this whole time ive been coming up with boy names, but she's gonna be a girl. if you have any name suggestions for a female labrador please share! she'll be either yellow or black, long story as to why we don't know the exact color yet that im too lazy to type out. thanks <3

Hello there!
I'm looking forward tomorrow for quite some time now because I'm picking my first dog up, a black & tan chihuahua puppy. Now I kinda need some advice as I've never had a dog before, anything I have to pay special attention to when she comes home? And it will probably be hard for her when she gets seperated from her mother and siblings, is there a way I can help her? Thank you for any tips!

Start training early! a lot of people think just because chihuahuas are small they can’t do anything or are “untrainable” that is false. I’ve trained a chihuahua to be a medical alert service dog and he’s doing great! i had my own personal chihuahua and she loved learning tricks. they might be a little stubborn at times but they are incredibly smart. they’re not just a purse dog. small dogs can do big things!

No ridgeback, but good guess! I've seen a few pictures of them with a similar tan/red coloring

No chow, but he does have a hound breed in him! He points and has so far managed to catch two chipmunks while on a 6ft leash (still trying to figure out how he managed that).

i stated that im getting a female labrador puppy next month on the last page. if you have any tips and tricks for lab pups or puppies in general i'd appreciate it if you'd pm'd me! especially if you have something that you regret teaching or not teaching your dog at a young age that you'd like to warn me about. im also a bit worried about puppy home sickness, i know she's gonna miss her mom and littermates so i'd appreciate it if you can give me tips on how to make her feel better. thank you very much!

desensitize to different noises and make sure to work on alot of handling/grooming with her!
