Chihiro’s disposition is pretty stereotypically Hufflepuff but he values strength and bravery very highly. The way I sort characters weighs their desires and values at least equally to their traits and personality. I do this because in Harry Potter, there are characters that get sorted into a house despite not exhibiting its qualities very well because they value those traits or houses (Neville, Pettigrew, Crabbe, Goyle) and characters who by qualities alone you might think should belong in another house (Hermione is incredibly smart, but she ends up in Gryffindor because in the end, she values bravery more highly and Harry gets to explicitly choose Gryffindor over Slytherin). Chihiro also does prove that he has courage in (1-2) and he reminds me a lot of Neville. In comparison, hard work, loyalty, and fairness don’t really have much to do with Chihiro’s story.

I searched rn and found some by Faded Playz. Is that’s who you’re thinking of? Hmm don’t really agree with some of their takes tho. I’m going to do it myself but feel free to ignore me.

Great placements! I love the concepts of the Harry Potter universe and I used to be a really big fan so I think about these a lot. Most of them I could see from your list right away. I had to think about Hiro's a bit tbh, but after going through his wiki, I can see it. At first I thought he'd work well in Ravenclaw because of his spacey personality and... we'll be nice and call it 'creative' thinking, but with his cowardice, Slytherin would be a better bet.

Awww, thanks, Geno! Yeah, it's been a long time since I last read Harry Potter but I really love the setting! Had no idea where to put Hiro tbh. Based on his talent and FTEs, I decided he exhibited some sort of cunning? Like... he lost millions on a crystal ball, but that also means he made millions in the first place through fortune telling, right? Makoto feels the urge to get his fortune told I think at the end of his first free time event, didn't check tho so I might be wrong. And he even tricked a Kuzuryu at some point lol. But I can see Ravenclaw too for the reasons you listed.
