The woman smiled, "Good," she said nodding, "I'll give you a month and a day to find him. If you haven't brought him back by then I will send my followers after you and you will be killed." she shouted, pointing out the door "Now leave before I decide I'm fine without the damn wizard." She glowered at them all, her silver eyes nearly glowing. She crossed her arms and waited for them to leave. The two thugs moved from barring the door and a staircase could be seen, from the end of it came fresh air and the smell of early morning. She clouds behind the lord were begining ot disipate and two servants drew the curtains.

Alhar stepped to the side and let the others lead, he'd take last, he wasn't a leader no matter how many times they told him. He glared up at the thugs and over to the lord, he didn't like this one bit and he had the odd sinking feeling that something was going to go wrong.

He glanced at Alhar as he pased by. He was curious, the other human was stronger and had known the group longer but he didn't want to lead. It was strange but Ike didn't question. He led the way out with Leeandra following close behind. All he wanted to do was get out of this horrible place. He headed for the stairs, glad for a way out.

.:Sae:.

Sae narrowed her eyes, watching as the servents pulled the curtain shut before it got too light. She shrugged and turned away from the woman and tugged on Alhar's arm. She was also eager to get out of this horrid place. She disappeared down the stairs after Ash and the other human.

.:Anamerak:.

The elf's ears drooped when he saw he upset Ash. He didn't mean too, he just felt jumpy and nervous. After the woman dismissed them, he quickly followed after Ike.

Alhar quickly followed the others outside. He looked around and the bright dewy morning. In the east the sun rose, red and orange. It's light reflecting off the water and dashing through the windows of houses in the city. They were on the peak looking back at a ruined tower, they could see teh curtains but from this side they looked to be filled with holes and the window was broken. Alhar shook his head, silently cursing magic. He turned back to the sunrise, it was the same as home, maybe it was possible for the two words to share one? No he was being stupid again. He sat down on the wet grasses and watched it, it would probably be the last few minutes of peace he had for some time or... forever. He shook the thought away. The west bound wind carried the smells of the sea, satly air and fish, it felt like home.

As he watched he looked with amazment as, spring from the ground, not seen or existing before was a beautiful flower. It carried the shape of a violet but its colours were like the sunrise; the center was red as the sun and towards the edges it darkened to a deep purple. He carefully plucked it and spun it about in his hands before he rose to his feet and walked over to Sae. He took the flower and gently wove it into her hair, he smiled and stood back; the two things he loved, together as one.

Ash squinted a bit when they made it outside, not used to the incredibly bright light after being in the dark so long. She sighed softly though when she was able to see again, stretching her wings out in the light, making them seem to shimmer almost. She smiled a little at how beautiful it was in the field with all of the flowers, but there was still that nagging feeling as she thought of how Anamerak had acted earlier, which almost instantly dampened her mood again.

The assassin looked around outside, her eyes scoping for hidden dangers. She looked back at the castle, unsuprised that it look desolate and ruined tower. With a sigh, she turned away from the Lord's tower. Her eyes focusing on the water. She tensed when she felt someone brush her hair, but relaxed when she noticed it was just Alhar. She felt something in her hair, and her hand trailed up and gently brushed one of the petals of the flower. She looked at Alhar quizzically but grinned. "Thank you." She murmured. She reached up and kissed his cheek. Even if the situation was hopeless, they could have just a little happiness.

.:Anamerak:.

Anamerak winced at the sudden brightness. He looked around the field, glad to be outside of that wretched tower. He looked towards Ash and noticed she looked depressed again. He walked to her side and touched her shoulder. "Sorry..for acting weird." He murmured softly. "Th-That place made me feel...nervous. Scared. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.." He said, looking downcast.

.:Ike:.

The human looked around confused, wondering how the tower could look ruined outside but look okay inside. He looked away from the tower, blaming it on magic. He looked at the group, unsure if he should interrupt what they were saying or not. With a sigh, he turned away from them, his arms across his chest. He look towards the water, watching the sun glitter across its surface. He felt Leeandra scoot closer and he looked down at the girl. She stared up at him with wide, brown eyes. Guilt swept over Ike, he felt horrible for dragging the girl into this mess. He looked towards the other human. "We need to get going. We have limited time and we need all the time we can get to find this wizard."

Alhar blushed a little when he felt Sae's brush his cheek. He turned to her with a big grin. He wrapped his arms gently around her and held her close. He wished they didn't have to go off on this insane quest, he wished their lives didn't depend on it. He could feel the amulet fade again but he found himself not minding as much as he had expected... Maybe, just maybe, Feathers had been right for once. He looked up when he heard the man call him. He gave a little sigh and let Sae go, hoisting his sword a little higher onto his back "I guess we should get going, we don't have much time." he said half-heartedly as he began to walk off down the broken path heading North.

Ash turned and looked up at him, a little surprised by how close he was, but she brushed it off, leaving her eyes completely blank and essentially empty as she looked up at him. "It is okay..." she mumbled, still looking up into his eyes for a moment before letting her gaze fall again, locking onto one of the flowers that was growing nearby.

She grinned when Alhar pulled her close. Oh how she longed that they were elsewhere. She sighed, a little huffily when the other boy spoke. After Alhar backed away and turned to leave, she gave Ike a deadly glare. He returned it without even flinching. He walked past her with Leeandra trailing behind him. Sae shook her head and followed after Alhar.

Anamerak looked at Ash sympathetically but he didn't know what to say to cheer her up. He looked down as he walked after Alhar and the others. He didn't know what exactly he had done, but he still felt bad for whatever he did.
