elia loves bargaining, loves challenges, and loves money. he thinks the whol
e ruling family thing is corrupt and outdated but still he's a sucker for a bi
g cheque. year after year he says he'll quit this stupid game, but he's atta
ched to it in a strange sort of way. risk, reward, repeat. elia is not loyal o
r empathetic. since he was a kid, it became clear to him that people are
corrupt and evil in nature. there's just no point in trying to be any differe
nt, in his mind. the way that elia speaks is smooth and polite, a bit upfron
t, but with a touch of condescending. he's arrogant, very confident in his
abilities (but also very able and experienced), and loves to piss people of
f just for fun, calling them "honey", "sweetie", and "beautiful" as a way of
messing with them. he grew up in a good, loving home with his mamma, b
ut it always seemed like she was always looking down on him. she took hi
m to mass every sunday in his best clothes, and to a good private school e
ven if they couldn't afford it so that he could grow up and be successful li
ke his father was. he ran away a lot and hung out with questionable peopl
e when he was younger, getting into scrapes as a way to get all of his ang
er and frustration out into the world. it was never anything too serious a
nd for a few years he even considered becoming a cop just to do somethi
ng good for the world. he did all of the training before he got an offer fr
om the infamous rossi family and then that was it for him. he doesn't talk
to his mamma much anymore... he now lives with a rescue pug named vio
letta. she is the light of his life and he would live and die for her.
