Everytime they go outside and get hit by the cold winter air at first step out of the apartment when opening the door makes them feel regretful of going outside leaving the oh so warm environment in the home. Letting out a sigh, Zuchi put their cold hands in the pockets of their pants to keep themselves warm. Why couldn’t they have a psychic ability to keep themselves in a comfortable temperature? Oh they’d give anything for that well almost anything. Closing the apartments door behind them they started walking over to their school by themselves alone as usual. Most times their roommate goes to school though rarely when needed if teachers need to talk to them but other than that they are usually alone walking to school then walking back home alone as well.

While getting close to their destination their eyes lit up receiving a precognition. Zuchi see themselves tripping over some kind of object, though it looked liked it was a rock out of place but they couldn’t tell what it was, as they were about to hit the ground a mysterious hole opens up beneath them engulfing them somewhere unknown and other worldly but yet still looks like Earth? They couldn’t tell where they were before tripping over the object maybe it was outside? As the vision ended they felt very hot and unwell. Well that’s great though the vision is yet confusing. Is it foretelling a danger in that other world? Remembering a bit of it they really don’t see anything dangerous or life threatening as it is, well yet. Maybe that vision was just a false alarm and just them being cold and grumpy about the weather. The ability is unpredictable anyways for them. As they stand in front of the school’s gate they look around to see if anyone was around. No one. Good. Zuchi walked slowly to the cafeteria placing a hand to their head trying to comfort themselves from the high fever but it's pretty hard when you feel like your body isn’t responding too well with the symptoms. They were sweating too much for their own good. They needed to go somewhere secluded and unknown to others just so they can recover.
While they try to walk fast, though Zuchi looked like a sweaty, shaking, sickly and awkward teen while doing it, it was a bit too hard for them as their legs felt weak at random moments notice to the point they almost fell on the hard tiled floors of the school but had to catch themselves by supporting themselves with the walls of the hallway they are in. Zuchi felt relieved seeing the theatre room closed and unoccupied when getting close to it, well just by the looks of it yet there hasn’t been any students or staff members going to that particular room for anything of the sort it's probably been abandoned by the whole school and forgotten. Who can blame them? Drama acts can be a bit boring or yet poor in the school as well drama became a forgotten extra curriculum. Nobody could be bothered.
Looking around once more to see if anyone was around they teleported inside the room quickly. As they teleported they had to catch their breath which was their loud heavy breathing and gasping echoing throughout the whole empty room. They plopped themselves down on the floor putting both of their, somewhat shaky and sweaty, hands in front of their face feeling the unnatural warmth from their face. Zuchi grumbled some words under their breath unhappy that this happened to them today. They slowly put their back on the carpet facing the ceiling, well they can’t really see it since it is so dark for them to see anything but their hands in front. Closing their eyes, Zuchi told quietly to themselves it’d be a short nap to recover. The nap will make the suffering go away. Probably.
A bell rang out throughout the school causing Zuchi jolt up fully awake and got to their defensive stance. The teen blinked a couple of times then realized they were in the theatre room still. A few seconds passed then something hit them, the bell rang which means- Zuchi quickly got themselves together and teleported out of the room in a hurry running to their first class period of the day. They didn’t think they’d be late this once because of the high fever but yet here they are rushing through the hallways with their footsteps echoing loudly throughout the halls the finally pushing one of the doors leading outside to the patio of the school. Zuchi eyes widened in realization that this looked almost like their vision. Their mind being all jumbled up focusing in getting to class on time and as well remembering the vision the thought of paying attention what's under them, they tripped over an object looking at it closely it was a backpack left behind for some odd reason no around but them. It was too late for them to avoid the obstacle since their fate was already sealed they felt themselves falling then finally seeing the unknown hole appearing below them. Zuchi braced themselves and fell a few feet from the sky then landing into a pile of leaves luckily softening their landing.
Well that was just great. Zuchi popped their head out of the pile of leaves and looked up to see the portal disappear never to be seen again. Well that’s just great this what they totally need to start their day off. They shook their head getting the leaves off the top of their head then let out an audible grumpy sigh. Now how are they gonna get back home? Slowly getting themselves out of the huge leaf pile they looked around observing their surroundings. Looks like they are in some kind of forest. Where are they? This is quite similar to their home world but different and lacking of different variety of wildlife. Well they should look for somebody or something though on that second that they might as well enjoy the place. The weather is somewhat nice for them to enjoy not too cold and not too hot just right they might as well just see new things and observe what they are.

-----━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━“Yeah!” Cato confirmed excitedly when Brigitte repeated what he had said after he mentioned being on a ship, taking some pride in the vessel that he and his group had acquired. “It’s called the Crimson Light.” He explained, emphasising the name for some dramatic effect, “It’s a really good ship too! A VX-9 Light Runner with a lightfold engine and a dimensional drop drive. Not to mention the AI is pretty cool too, she’s called A.V.A” He continued to explain, his expression considerably as bright as it had been since encountering the armoured woman, “You know, I didn’t think it could get any cooler, but now it has portals too!” Bouncing and balling his fists with childish excitement and cheer, the Ventrexian grinned as he got the chance to speak about the ship and its crew, although hadn’t revealed the name of any of them aside for the artificial intelligence, although he doubted her name would be recognisable. While it was clear that Brigitte was from a different planet, it was plausible to assume she could have been from an entirely different plane of existence as well. It wasn’t like that was something unheard of.
Little Cato fell silent so that he could listen to Brigitte recounting her method of reaching the unfamiliar place both of them found themselves, tilting his head curiously as she commented on the similarity - and near identicality - of their methods. The one difference, though, was the fact that the woman was being rather vague about where she was when she found the portal, unlike the fourteen-year-old who was happy to flaunt the ship he travelled on. He would have perked up to remark on how he could be trusted to be told things, but realised that would probably seem suspicious if he pushed for information about a complete stranger. Besides, he didn’t get the chance to voice his trustworthiness as Brigitte raised an interesting point about their situation, implying some ulterior motive of the place as she questioned the reason why they were taken there. “Huh...yeah, it is pretty weird.” He agreed thoughtfully, raising a hand to rub his chin as his gaze lowered to the ground. “I mean, I went to a place once where they would inject people with this weird stuff which made them go to their happy place.” He suggested with a shrug, “Turns out that guy wanted to kill one of our guys, though. We blew that place up, so it probably isn’t there.”Little Cato decided finally, waving a hand dismissively with a smile.
