Sail the Seas (Pirate RP Needs Members!)

Ingo took Rodney's hand as he whimpered at her. He was scared, he could deal with death and piratism but not kidnapping. Ingo took note of Indigo's words. "We've got to get back, but we can't just leave Sonja," Ingo said to Indigo.

Rodney was whimpering into Ingo's clothing, he wished he could be more brave, but a ten year old was not used to that.

"We won't," said Indigo, placing a hand on Ingo's shoulder. "I swear it." She turned and knelt down next to Rodney, turning him to face her. "You're not dead yet," she said to him, "But one of our crew will be, and soon. Come on- there's things to be done." She offered her hand to the boy, comforting, and yet... stern, somehow. They didn't have time to babysit two young members of the crew, and pirates had to be tough. She felt for him, knowing how scared he must be, but... still.

Rodney took Indigo's hand. "I'll be a brave pirate," he kept muttering to himself under his breah. he was acting childishly but the fear he had felt just them seemed to be driving him on. He wouldn't let a single member of the crew die.

Ingo nodded, she was now completely serious, it was a s if she had a task to complete and would not sleep until it had been completed.

"Good lad," said Indigo with a smile, ruffling Rodney's hair. "Come along, the rest of you," she said, glancing about at her crew. "There's things to be done before tomorrow, whatever happens."

Emerald walked to the docks, her brilliant green eyes scanning every boat. she tucked her long brown curly hair under her hat to hide she was a girl. she wore a big jacket to hide her bust. she breathed in the chilly sea air and smiled. sea gulls chattered overhead and she looked around for a ship she could join, preferably a pirate ship. she walked farther along the wooden dock and saw the Maiden. she knew it was a pirate ship from the flags with the crossbones. she smiled, her white teeth flashing against her tan skin. she walked over to the Maiden and couldnt see if anyone was on board. "hello?" she called out.

Sinbad looked back, worried. He grounded his teeth. They would need more than just this crew. Especially to get the ship moving and sailing as quickly as possible. And Sonja... He shook his hand. She wouldn't stay even if he begged her to. He clenched his hands into fists at his side. "We need to go and save Sonja."

she didnt get an answer. maybe they were inland stealing something. she saw a rope ladder and climbed it up onto the deck. she smiled. it was a perfect ship. she justr hoped the people on it were as perfect as their boat. she looked up at the sails and smiled. 'Maiden' was the name of the ship. she could get used to it. she tucked another strand of hair into her hat, hoping they would buy her act as a boy.

"We will do, don't underestimate us," Ingo commented, she had seen his nervous actions and thought the crew ere better than he expected. She held her cutlass up to him, not in a threatening way, more to use as a pointer. "I jumped off a boat and swum al,l the way to shore to save my frinends, tehy're dead now and I'm not gonna let another die," she said, then put her sword back in it's sheath. She followed Indigo then.

Rodney nodded and walked beside her, acting as if he was older than he was.

she continued to walk around the deck of the ship, wondering where everyone was. she smiled and she found the wheel. she rubbed her hands over the wooden wheel. she daydreamed about being a captian, just as she had after she got over her horse faze. she had wanted to be a horse trainer at one point, but that dream got smashed when her father wouldnt let her breed their mare so she could train the foal. she daydreamed about all the things the ship had been through and smiled.

Indigo nodded, then trotted down the street to the docks. Suddenly she froze, and said, "Everyone stop- the rope ladder was hitched up when we left. Somebody's been on our ship."
