Scuttlekit awoke and streched. Yawning he skipped out into the dusty clearing. "Hey featherkit" he padded up to the she-cat "wanna play" he said pawing her tail.

Pepperpaw glared at the cat who bumped her, but her gaze softened a little when she saw it was Jetpaw, "S'okay." she said and shook her fur, dust clouding around her. She started to walk out of camp, then looked back at him, "I'm hunting. You wanna come?" she asked brightly.

"Sure," Jetpaw shrugged. "I could use a good hunting anyway," he mewed shifting his shoulders slightly but the movement showed his scars around his neck.

Pepperpaw nodded, "Right. Let's go." she said to Jetpaw and glanced at his scars. She flinched and turned to him, though continued to walk, "Do they hurt...?"
