Vertigo sighed and put his hand over his eyes, somehting he did when things were becoming too stressful and he needed a good break. It helped him clear his mind, help him find logical paths to take. Then, suddenly, he heard his door burst open, his hands falling to his side and his eyes immideatly snapping open. He looked at the man that was approching him, he heard the words that were uttered from tight lips. Vertigo growled immideatly, his lip curling over his teeth in agression, his body ridged in readiness to attack. His mind raced to find an answer, a soultion to a problem, but nothing arrived. So, he acted on his feet and pulled The Doppleganger from the chair, one arm around her waist and the other on her arm. His fangs were near her neck, kind of looking like a filthy blood-sucker in the process. Though, he clearly wasn't threating to drink her blood. "One step closer and I'll rip the girl's throat out." He was serious about this, because honestly, he could always wait for the next Dopplerganger to be born. But, that would be such a pain, and he really didn't want to have to do that. Vertigo might have looked sure of himself, but really he was just grasping at straws, he was very unprepared and unsure. To respond to the man's comment, he barked a growl, sounding very much like a wolf. "Kidnap? No. Let's not think of it as kidnapping...more like showing her what her destiny is. You know that she was ment to break the curse, we all know that. And I won't let some blood-suckers be the first to do it." He said this in a surprisngly calm tone, even if he was anything but calm on the inside. He was out numbered, alone, the only guard a measly girl with a fragile life. If only Ario would show up, but he wasn't going to be even close until the next dawn. Vertigo was trapped, and he knew that this was not going to end very well. Unless, of course, some merical appeared out of thin air, but that wasn't very likely. Vertigo contiued to growl, his piercing blue eyes furious. If he didn't calm down, he was in danger of Changing, somethign he really, really did not want to do at the moment. Even if it did help him.

In one smoothe motion, Vertigo had the Doppleganger in his arms. "One step closer and I'll rip the girl's throat out." he said. We all stopped.

My mind raced, trying to find a solution. As I thought, he responded to Brigan's earlier question. "Kidnap? No. Let's not think of it as kidnapping...more like showing her what her destiny is. You know that she was meant to break the curse, we all know that. And I won't let some blood-suckers be the first to do it."

I watched as the Doppleganger struggled in his arms. She elbowed him in the ribs, stomped on his feet, struggled to break free of the restraining circle of his arms. And then the spell came to me. I whispered it, softly, and then the werewolf became as still as a board. "Brigan," I said, a hand outstretched to keep the spell, "get her." He stepped forward, forcing the werewolf's arms away from the doppleganger. The werewolf was mad, really mad.

Brigan helped the Doppleganger out of the house, and everyone else followed. I backed away slowly, my hand still outstretched, Vertigo still as stiff as a board. "Don't try that again," I threatened, "because next time I might just have to kill you." I released the spell, turned, and ran after the others.

If yes, how much do they know?: She knows the materials needed and the date of when the ritual is to be done, but she doesn't know where to find the book of old, the midnight stone, or the doppleganger.

What do they look like?:

Personality: Due to her past she is secretive and mysterious. She doesn't trust many people, but if you become close to her she is extremely loyal and will do almost anything to ensure your safety and happiness. She can be stubborn and headstrong but her heart is in the right place. She has a slight temper, especially when she is looked down upon because of her gender. She can be sly and manipulative, willing to do anything to get what she wants.

History: Before she was turned into an immortal she was a princess, her father was the king of a fairly large portion of the country. Her mother passed away giving birth to her younger brother, Blaise. On the eve of her nineteenth birthday the castle was sieged by rogue vampires. All of the nobles where slaughtered except the few that the vampires found worthy of their 'gift'. She was one of the chosen and was held captive by the vampires for a decade. She now roams the country searching for her younger brother who had disapeared that night and a way to break the curse upon her kind.

Anything else?: She sometimes has premonitions of the future and is able to slightly sense the feelings of others.

How often are you on CS?: I check it everyday but I just started on the sight.

How well do you write?: I read over the stuff I write ten times but even then some mistakes can get past me.

Blair

A cloaked figure scaled the walls and slipped past the gaurds, disposing of the few unlucky enough to spot her. She came to a sudden staggering stop, a premonition engulfing her vision, causing her to lean on the wall before she lost all conscienceness.

A warlock and two vampires where walking along a dirt path. Ahead of them in the distance was an old house. When they finally came upon the place the male vampire led the way with the female one and warlock following closely behind. What she saw next stunned her, inside the house was one of the three items she'd been searching for, the dopplerganger.

Blair regained her footing, spots dancing around her vision. Once her head cleared she resumed her dangerous treck into the castle. There was no need to worry, she already knew how the events would play out.

Alexander Bane

Alec watched as the male vampire and Falla freed the young human girl. Only of course, she wasn't fully human. Alec hadn't really noticed before but instead of the usual human trail that was pink, she left a light purple trail. How interesting. He thought, amused by the colour of the trail she left. No one else had that colour of trail. But of course, that was because there was only one Doppelganger. And of course, everyone wanted her. Alec waited until the others had left before casting a sealing spell on the door. It would lock and seal it. It would take awhile for the magic to wear off. Making sure they would get away before the werewolf would come after them. Of course, Alec doubted it would do so when he was outnumbered but you never could be to safe. Alec watched to make sure the spell was going to hold before turning and running after the others. He had to admit, he was slightly disappointed that he hadn't gotten in on more action. He had just stood there. Disappointing but oh well. They had gotten what they had come for. Alec just wasn't sure if he liked the vampires having her. To be frank, he just wished she didn't exist. It just caused even more chaos then there already was. Maybe he should kill her off. Alec knew he wouldn't be able to do that though. He wouldn't be able to kill a human being just for the sake of it. It was too cruel for his liking. When they reached the castle Alec was a little breathless. Looking over at Falla he grinned. "Well that was certainly fun."

Olivia Bernadette

Olivia watched, slightly amused as they 'rescued' the doppelganger. She wasn't needed so Olivia wasn't quite sure why she had come along. Really she had been hoping to torture the werewolf leader a bit but when Brigan took off without saying anything about it, Olivia followed him with a sigh. Watching Brigan and Falla fight would have to be enough of an excitement fix for her. Running past the witch she soon fell into stride with Brigan. Most human females had trouble keeping up with human males but for vampires it really wasn't a problem. Even in the big ridiculous dresses they had to wear. Really it wasn't fair that men could wear pants and shirts and women had to wear layer after layer of clothing. But what could you do really? So Olivia just complied and did what any woman was supposed to do. Of course, she only did that some of the time. She spend the rest of her time in pants and shirts. Doing things other women and men would see as unfit. But that was perfectly fine with Olivia. They could think whatever they wanted. Although most people didn't know what she all did so she really didn't have to worry about it. When they reached the castle wall, Olivia stopped with ease. Not tired at all. "What are we supposed to do with it now?" She asked Brigan, jerking her head towards the Doppelganger when she said it. Olivia refused to think of the Doppelganger as a human girl. It would just interfere with what they had to do with her.
