Stagleap, He wasn't a 'paw anymore, he was a warrior. He dipped his head to his leader and made his way back, a little upset at the remark that was made by the she-cat, he knew he'd have to make it up, he wanted to be able to prove himself a good warrior and he would work harder and not be late to anything again. He looked over to Bearfluff, the grown apprentice made his way over and purred, he knew the deputy would always be there for him, "thank you," he whispered. He turned back to take a seat next to the other cats and watched as Hortnetpaw went up to receive his name.

He sighed and nodded at the cats responses, "at least there haven't been any border fights," he looked at Tatteredpaw, "Why don't you mark this border?" he mewed. Turning back to the other cats he listened as Heatflight asked what Sunpaw thought of things.

Carefully, she made her way through the forest, sure to avoid any of Softpaw's scent before arriving just outside of the Shoreclan territory onto Redfur's beach. She couldn't smell or hear him but she thought he might be around if she searched for him long enough. She meowed softly, hoping to draw him out.

Her ears flickered at the tom's amused tone and she looked down to her paws. "Well, it would be my first gathering, but I dont know if ill be chosen to go." She admitted and then looked back up to him as he spoke. "Not fun?" She whispered back, tilting her head in a curious motion, her odd colored eyes gazing into his. "How can't they be? You get to see so many new faces!" She grinned, obviously not having any hard feelings towards the other clan like her clanmates.

Cindercloud pulled her gaze away from the ceremony when she heard a small hiss beside her, she looked down to see Tinypaw obviously upset over something. She followed his gaze and saw that the thing upsetting him was none other than Hornetpaw. Cindercloud's own opinion of Hornetpaw was not the best, but she found it slightly amusing that the usually nice cat beside her so openly opposed the other apprentice. She allowed a small chuckle escape her maw and she looked down at Tinypaw. "You forget that you will be joining the warriors' den in a moon's time as well." She shifted her large paws as she looked back towards the ceremony. 'You may not be joining him now, but where can I go to get away from all the new fuss this is going to cause', she thought to herself with a small huff. She looked back down to TInypaw, "I suggest you start trying to get along with him, you never know when you are going to have to depend on him to help you in a hunt or during a battle. Having bad relationships with your fellow clan mates only leads to issues later down the line." She meowed, speaking from personal experience. She wasn't the favorite warrior of a lot of the cats either. Her own rough personality had lost her her medicine cat apprenticeship. Tinypaw likely wouldn't have known this unless some cat had told him though. When he had been born she had already been 18 moons and made a warrior. She paused to reminisce for a moment before speaking again."You don't have to like him, but getting on his good side could come with benefits in the end." She shrugged, turning her gaze back towards Rabbitstar and Hornetpaw.

Crabfur had been focused on his fur when Reedstrike approached, drawing his attention away with a start. He instinctively wrapped his tail around his legs and nodded at the deputy's question. He disliked the idea of going out in such dangerous times but he also knew there was no real choice. The clan needed prey and the disappearing cats only meant there were less to do the hunting. "S-sure I'll come." He meowed meekly, glancing up at the younger cat from the ground. He then followed the tom's gaze to see him look towards the leader. For a brief moment, Crabfur wondered if the deputy was considering to ask Ripplestar to join due to the lack of available warriors. Crabfur glanced between the two before drawing his eyes away and back towards the camp exit.

He laid down outside of his den, curling his tail around his front paws. I don't know what I'm supposed to say to the Summitclan cats... let alone Rabbitstar. What is everyone expecting me to do? Ripplestar wondered and sighed heavily. He knew he was supposed to be civil, but a part of him wanted to confront her about Nettlepaw. Despite that, he also knew that other cats in Summitclan were missing. Ripplestar couldn't put the blame on any of them.

A content sigh escaped from him, comfortable next to Servalnose. Standing up as well, Tinyseal stretched and stifled a yawn. The caregiver cocked his head to one side as he thought and hummed, unsure of what Serval nose would want to do. "I don't know if you like being in the water, but I do. Would you want to wade into the ocean?" Tinyseal asked and flicked his tail in the direction of the waves.

Redfur - beach outside clan territory - tags: Fernsnap

The loners head popped above the surface, pattering towards land until a large wave caught him and sent him tumbling into the beach. Redfur coughed a bit of sand and moved farther up the beach, stopping to shake some of the water and sand from his fur. He’d caught a few of the strange crustaceans that lived in the shallows but other much else. He began making his way farther up the beach when he heard someone meow. His ear twitch and he looked around, it hadn’t been very loud and he wondered if he’d imagined it. A look of relief coming over his face when he saw the familiar bangle standing by the treeline. Even after almost a full moons worth of peace he still had trouble getting over the feeling that some other loners or the clans would find and chase him away. Redfur shook the thought from his head and grinned as he began trotting towards her. “Well well well, if it isn’t a clan cat on the wrong side of the border.” He meowed teasingly, “I was hoping you’d have a chance to come by today.”

She nodded half heartedly about the lack of border fights. Less conflict was good but she missed interacting with the other clan. It was probably wrong of her, but she’d always liked the extra drama of catching the scent of a trespasser and trying to find them. With almost every summit clan cat smell having gone stale everything just felt eerie instead.

Her ears flicked back in surprise at Rabbitstar’s comment during Stagpaw’s ceremony. It was hardly a surprise they’d been late, after all Rabbitstar hadn’t been out of her den in almost a moon. Hernclaw wondered if there had been some sort of announcement about when the meeting was taking place and if she had somehow missed it. But then again Hawthorn had come in late as well and had been just as unsure of what it was to be about as she was. The senior warrior looked over at the tom, trying to see if he’d had a reaction. Her tail flicket softly against the ground as Hornetpaw was called up and she turned back to watch the rest of the ceremony. Despite being happy to hear from Rabbitstar, Heronclaw was already growing restless and wished she could just leave to go hunt or something.

Silvertail purred at Badgerbloom's obvious excitement. "Shore Clan is full of very interesting cats, I can agree with that," he chuckled softly. His ears flicked away several gnats as he laid down next to the younger she-cat. "I'll be curious to see what they say about all the disappearances," he said, trailing off in thought. Perhaps Ripplestar would have a better idea of what happened than Rabbitstar.

Fernsnap purred at the sight of her friend. Her guard had been up, thinking of Softpaw in the forest but her worries quickly melted away at the sight of Redfur. "It's a miracle I've made it," she said. "Remember that big event I told you about, the gathering? It's tonight and the whole clan is hustling and bustling like crazy," she grumbled with a roll of her large green eyes. "My apprentice Softpaw is in the forest hunting right now so I can't stay too long or she might find me," Fernsnap continued giving Redfur a small happy lick on the forehead.

Reedstrike nodded gratefully, he figured Crabfur wasn't too keen on the idea of a patrol, but it had to be done. He turned to the queen as he beckoned her over. "Look's like it'll just be us.." he trailed off awkwardly, looking around before shaking his head and leading them forward. As he headed deeper into their territory, he scented the air briefly before looking over his shoulder at the two. "I'm sure theres more warriors and apprentices out hunting, so just be wary of that, yeah? Don't stress it." He stopped briefly as he looked around, "You two can hunt together or split up." he suggested as he began to walk in a direction only to stop to wait for an answer.

Hornetpaw watched as the other apprentice's received their new names, not bad either. He had high hopes for his own. Something cool, she did save him for last after all, much to his impatience, but best for last right? As she called his name, he stepped forward as expected, waiting for his cue. "I do." he responded firmly, casting a glance back at his mentor to see his reaction. Despite how much stuff he gave Antdusk, he was a good mentor. He was going to make him proud. His eyes focused again on Rabbitstar as he stood tall, his head held high.

Creamflower nods and follows Reedstrike out of camp and into the territory, happy to get some exercise. When they have stopped, she hears the deputy say they can either split up or hunt together if one desires to, nodding in agreement. Seeing as they are still rather close to the coast, she decides to see if she can catch any delicious water delicacies. "Crabfur," she offered. "Want to join me? Maybe we can catch some fish and crab together!"

The mouse that the tom ended up tracking had been much to easy to catch, mostly because of the fact that the mouse was probably old. Its brown fur was starting to silver in certain places. But the mouse's sorrow was his gain. He supposed it was time to go back to camp, but first, he'd have to track down his other catches. The dove wasn't hard to find, and easy to carry. Holding the mouse by its tail and the dove by a wing the tom carried on trotting towards the squirrel he caught.

She glanced at the ocean when the young tom mentioned it, tilted her head then smiled again. "That sounds like a lovely idea, I haven't been in the water for way too long." She nosed the dark-coated tom playfully before trotting over to the water, shivering slightly as the cold water hit her paws. It really has been too long, she thought idly as she slowly stepped deeper into the water. Another full-body shiver overtook her as the water brushed over the fur of her belly. Looking out over the water a slight frown found its way to her maw, she used to be able to fish in the oasis back home, and she doubted that the fish her would come so close. Shaking her head the spotted tabby she-cat glanced back to Tinyseal and flashed a smile.

Tinypaw nearly groaned as Cindercloud began to scold him, ears flatted for a whole other reason. Looking down at his white paws, he let out a soft huff then mewed," Sorry just can't stand that arrogant fox-dung and the feelings mutual." He glanced up at his mentor then to Rabbitstar and Hornetpaw. Heaving a soft sigh, the small tom whispered," I'll try my best, Cindercloud. But I won't promise anything, a relationship is a two-way street." He shot a light glare at the older tom, One I doubt Hornetpaw will want to go down.
