The dark haired vampire hummed softly in the kiss, continuing to kiss the man back. It could almost be a fight of lips, but it was no fight, it was a show of love. Not that anyone better be watching them, gawking...She nearly snorted at that thought, yet kept herself from doing so. She whined a bit when he broke off and moved away...but saw him still watching her. She twitched a bit at that, shaking her head, and blinked a few times. Her face was flushed, as she touched her lips.

Koon huffed as he watched the male Jamie had approached, having approached the guy himself because he was staying by his human’s side. He yipped and flicked his tail a few times, trotting closer to sniff the guy’s legs then jumping back. Huffing, he shook himself off, then tilted his head. Jamie put a hand on Koon’s head, petting the dog behind the ears then glancing to the stranger again. They tilted their head as they watched him a moment, then shrugged. “Um...are you hungry?” they asked, thinking he was just another human like them, one that needed to eat. They hummed as they looked him up and down, then shook their head a few times. “What’s your name?” they then asked, before looking down at the dog again. Koon yipped and wagged at them.

The golden brown haired girl hissed as she stared him down, watching him closely a moment. She heard the nearby cat hiss, from the bushes, though couldn't be sure which of them he hissed at. She huffed a bit, shaking her head, then focused on the darned human before her...She hissed again, showing fangs this time, and ducked, going to flip and trying to kick him as she did so. Maybe she hit him, maybe she didn't, but at least it could push him back, maybe. She also had avoided at least one knife, by ducking.

Woah woah woah, hold up. Betrothed????!!!! No no no no no. Not going to happen- hasn't happened- won't happen. He wasn't going to have yet another failed relationship with a human. They all just end up leaving him, or turning on him. But where the princess would've even gotten such an ide- wait. Lucas It had to of been Lucas! In fact, it was quite obvious it was him after looking at how the princess was acting. Her heartbeat picked up, she made too much eye contact with Aralynn- plus the way she was holding her skirt with her free hand were all dead giveaways she was lying. Add onto that the fact she had been hanging around Lucas....it all made sense. At least to him anyways.
Once the princess walked away, he immediatly turned to Aralynn and said, " Please believe me when I say I had absolutely nothing to do with that."

" If you needed fresh air, explain how you got out without anyone noticing?" she spoke with slight irritance. From there she listened to Aralynn in silence, especially when she responded to her question about Al being her betrothed. Of course, it wasn't a definite 'yes' or 'no' of a response, and little did she know the true circumstances of Aralynn and Al's relationship, but from her point of view it was all the answer she needed. However, she wasn't going to throw Lucas under the bus. Yes, he was the one who gave her the idea....but she wouldn't tell Aralynn that. " Really it's quite simple. You've been acting odd for a while now. You've been all secretive and distant, distracted....then last night we couldn't find you anywhere! We even went into your room, which had locked doors, and all we found was an open window. Everything indicates that you snuck out last night since your back today- better than being kidnapped I suppose- but still!"
Though she had meant to continue, she was interrupted by a maid who had snuck up on them, informing them that Lucas's room was ready. Giving the maid a quick 'thank you', she took a brief moment to finish her conversation with Aralynn." Now, typically you know I would love nothing more than to spend time with you and Haruna, but I believe I have more important matters to attend to right now. When your done hanging around your betrothed, maybe we'll talk then. maybe. At least invite me to the wedding, and preferably not at the last minute." turning her attention to Lucas, she spoke again, " I'm sorry for the distraction, Lucas. The maid has informed me your room is ready, and she is waiting at the end of the corridor to show us which room exactly it is. Therefore, let us go. I'm sure your joruney to our kingdom was quite lengthy, and you must be tired." with that she gently tugged Lucas torwards where the maid awaited to guide them, cutting her conversation with Aralynn short. The most she gave as a 'goodbye', was a simple wave of her hand as she walked away. Typically she was as sweet as can be, but the fact Aralynn had kept such a thing from her had brought out her anger.

His knife had barely grazed her shoulder when she had ducked, and the sudden kick had made him stumble. It took him a moment to regain his balance after having backed up a few steps, but soon enough he was on the attack again- this time feigning left before going right, aiming for a kick to the back of the knees. If he could pin her, maybe he'd have a chance. It was risky, but a feral vampire wasn't going to be taken down by normal tactics.

She sighed as she thought of having to dispatch this guy...He was cute, but he was also trying to do the same to her, so it only seemed the logical thing to do. She snorted softly again, hearing the cat still hissing and sighing, though surely she wished to tell the cat to just shove off...It wasn't like he was her cat anyway, just a stray. She yelped as the human kicked her back...

She just stood there in silence, not a single word left the teen. She didn't even call out after Akira as she walked away with the family's guest.

The blonde human didn't move from her spot to so much as make a move to go after her sister. She just let Akira walk off with Lucas.

The vampire eyed his friend in silence for a moment before glancing down at Henrietta expectingly. "What? No growl or jumping up and friendly bite of warning on the arm? I just kissed your mistress you know.", Fallon told the canine before looking back in Konan's direction. A look of uncertainty crossing his face coming face to face with the blushing female. "Speaking off.....should I fear for my immortal life because you still hate me? Or are we okay now? Im not good with emotions or feelings you know."

The dark haired vampire continued to hold fingers to her lips, then shook her head and shook it off, sighing. It was a happy or relaxing sound though, Henrietta could tell, and said dog barked and wagged at her owner and companion. The Afghan hound snorted at Fallon as he spoke, gently nudging his hip with her side before trotting to Konan. Konan resumed humming, though watched Fallon. She huffed when he spoke...then shook her head. “You’re obviously forgiven...Or do you think enemies kiss too?”

He was starting to dream of horses when their voices picked up again. He whimpered as he jerked a bit, not liking that...He shuffled around in his bed as though trying to get comfortable, then jerked. Opening his eyes, he called “A-Aralynn?” through his door, as his bunny made noises in her cage.

He frowned in silence at Aralynn's lack of...well, anything but breathing, really. She didn't move, or even attempt to go after her sister. Nor did she call out, or utter a single word in response. "Ms. Aralynn, I assure you that.....you know what? Nevermind. Maybe it's best if I leave for now. I think I've caused quite enough trouble for you today. I'll be back tomarrow. Maybe. I think for now it's best if I leave you to sort out your problem with your sister. " slowly he started walking away, just in case Aralynn had anything more to say. However, seeing how Aralynn was currently responding to her sister, he gave her an apologetic look before wandering off. Eventually he found himself near the back of the garden. He hoped he had gotten his message across to Lucas. If he had, he was sure Lucas would be able to locate him.

Once out of Aralynn's earshot, a frown made its way across her face. " I'm sorry you had to witness that. It hadn't been my intention. To be honest, I'm not even sure what came over me. I thought it was going to be a calm, civilized conversation...but I suppose the fact she still refused to give me a direct answer was quite frustrating...." after a bit of walking, they stopped at a room. " Ah, here we are then. This would be your room for the night. " she paused before continuing. " Once again I apologize for the banter you had to witness earlier, and furthermore I apologize for cutting this so short, but I think I need some time alone. As I said earlier, however, thank you for joining me for that walk around the garden. Now, I bid you goodnight, Lucas." she stated calmly before leaving Lucas to his room. From there, she returned to her own room, frowning as she stood on the balcony that overlooked part of the garden. She felt bad for snapping at Aralynn- but what else was she supposed to do? Aralynn was still being secrative! The least she could do was give her a direct answer. She didn't need all the details, she just wanted to know.

For a moment he thought he was victorious, seeing as he had been able to land a kick to the vampire's back. However, when he spun her around after grabbing her shoulder, he hesitated. Why? Why was he hesitating? He had his knife perfectly aimed, and while its point stood right above her heart, he couldn't find it in him to land the finishing blow. Dang it, why? He'd never had this issue before..... but then again, he'd always found the other ones as they were getting ready to attack some innocent bystander.

Her mouth was dry. Her body refused to move. Her head refused to fubction enough to make it move, being much too stunned. The palace walls feeling like they were sliding in around her slowly causing her a panic at the ever closing space. And Akira was just leaving her there to be suffocated to death between them without a care.

The human teen snapped out of it hearing her name, causing her to turn around on her heels. "Al wait!" But it was too late. By the time she had actually snapped out of her inner thoughts, the vampire was already gone and the hallway was empty except for her. Aralynn started to tremble slightly as she faught to get herself back under control, which she seemed to be loosing quite a bit lately, until the blonde her her name being called. A shiver went up her spine as she looked around to catch sight of a familiar welcome face peeking out into the hall at her from his bedroom door. "Haruna.", said Aralynn turning to face her brother. Worry bubbled up inaide her as the need for her to tred carefully weighed heavy on her thoughts...least she face a repeat of what she just had with her sister. Taking a deep breath to ease her snapping nerves, "I'm sorry Haruna, I didn't mean to disturb your rest with my restlessness. Is there something I can do for you my sweet prince? Are you alright?" Aralynn folded her hands in front of her as she made her way over to the young man standing in the doorway watching her.

"Looking for someone are we?" The shadows in the garden moved as one started to take form steadily nearing Al. The tall male walking with a typical air of board laziness about him as he approached. A amused grin on his face. Lucas twirled the stem of a pale pink flower he'd plucked between his fingers carelessly. He'd waited a few seconds after Akira and the palace staff member had left him before leaving his temporary quarters. Couldn't raise the suspicion of his gracious hostess after all. That would not be a good thing. Lucky it seemed the princess was right about her needing some alone time and there had been no signs she was returning that night. A bit disappointing for the male, yes, but it also meant the new military leader could pay his friend as visit as promised. It had been quite some time since he and Al had seen each other after all. In fact it hadn't been since before the changling became an Infiltrator that they'd enjoyed a good conversation.
