the beat is really solid and steady, which is really good for songs. it's really predictable. i've listened to buddy holly a few times but not super often, i'm glad that i got an excuse to do it again.
overall a good song, i will be adding it to one of my playlists!

Anyways, when it comes to rap/r&b/hip hop, my tastes are very particular. I don’t hate this song, but I probably would skip it if I was listening to Spotify radio and it started playing. Lyrics have good meaning though.

The beat is alright, but tbh it's more of a song that I'd personally put on while drawing instead of just sitting and listening to it. I think it's mainly because of the kinda reggae-ish vibes of the beat during the chorus? I don't know, it just kinda throws me of a bit. However I like the lyrics and the singer. I'd probably really like the song if the beat were to be changed.
