As Willowpup walked back to the den, she got many looks. Mostly to see if she was sad or not. Her mom recently died protecting the clan. She looked down and started to eat. Some dogs came to apologize for her mom dying and she nipped at them. “Go away I’m fwine!” She would growl at them.

His head lay on his paws as the rushing wind ruffled his fur. Laying this close to the thunderpath would scare many dogs and quite frankly, it did make Fawnfoot a little uneasy. But he was bored and with nothing to do, it felt right to lay on the edge of the territory. Perhaps he could claim that he was watching the border for Windpack intruders if anyone questioned why he was out for so long. The scents of outpackers filled his nostrils all along the thunderpath but rarely getting close enough to the Shadow pack territory line.

"What, to our right?" Mischief reflexively glanced over to where the treeline became so thick that the grass beneath was dark. "I didn't know that that was ThunderPack. I thought they were supposed to be...I dunno, like nice or something." Her ears perked at the mention of the river. She cocked her head, surprised with Firelight. The pup herself had been, many times, but it was a long enough journey from here, even at full sprint, that she'd assumed most dogs wouldn't bother unless they absolutely needed to, especially considering how deep into Pack dog territory the majority of the river rushed through. Most were simply too lazy or fearful of confrontation. Not this pair, though! The prospect of a challenge was too tempting for the pup, despite the easier trail that was laid out directly before them, crossing through that mysterious mountain. She smirked, daringly. "You are the adventurous type! Let's go for it!" She twisted around without another word, bolting into the forest before her companion could even confirm that was what she'd meant. As she ran, Mischief smiled, amused, as she wondered if she'd be recognized by any patrols again. She wandered through Pack land on an obnoxiously regular basis and was consistently met with less than friendly reception. Those circumstances frequently made for some hilarious experiences, so long as she didn't get nipped up too badly. Even when she did, it was still pretty fun to peeve off the residents by getting out with her hide intact.

Badgerstrike nodded at Mouseheart. “That’s why I told Cindermist to go on without us to the gathering. We'll have to meet them there if the journey takes too long considering it’s a 4 day journey in total. “ he said as he lead the way towards the overpass. Keeping his pace slow for the smaller dogs to keep up.

Lillysnap's ears flicked, unsettled by the mention of the shadowpack's leader. "Hopefully Velvetstar won't take advantage of us being gone if we don't make it to the gathering," she said, aloud but more to herself than anyone in particular. Despite her concern about the length of their journey, Lillysnap's tail refused to stop wagging as she took in all of the sights and smells of the world outside of camp. She secretly hoped that with Badgerstrike as their new alpha, she'd be allowed outside of camp more often.

Willowstep followed along, leading the way-and trying to go as quick as she could with her permanently injured shoulder. "It will take four days..yes. We won't be back in time-I don't think. But a procedure like this isn't to be missed or rushed, it's far more important" she insisted, her paws carrying her ahead of the group as she glanced back every so often to check on the canines. "But, I trust they won't take advantage of our camp. And besides, I know our canines can hold their ground, we're a strong pack, so if anything does happen, they can handle themselves." she promised, smiling over at them reassuringly.
