Magnus
{Alpha--Male--4 yrs--Wolf pack--wolf--Calm--TAGS:Open/In wolf camp}
Magnus awoke early in the morning before the sun rose high in the sky. This was not due to a lack of sleep or a startling dream but rather, because that was simply his routine. He liked to be awake before the rest of his pack and take the early morning hours to plan the day. It was quiet then, perfect for him to think. A few days prior the pack had brought down a moose cow but they had finally stripped her clean the day before, this would mean another hunt was due. If things went as he planned the pack would be feasting on white-tailed deer tonight.
Magnus ventured from the dens tucked away in the mountainside cave to the overhang just outside. He looked out on his territory as he waited for the other wolves to wake up and took in the beauty of the highlands.

Enver
{Hunter/Warrior--Male--3.8 yrs--Wolf pack--wolf--Happy--TAGS:Open/In wolf camp}
The charismatic male slept soundly, nestled in the back of the pack's cave camp where the dens were. Unlike Magnus, he had no problem sleeping during the early morning hours, only sturring once the other wolves began to move about. Enver took his time getting up, stretching slowly and yawning loudly as he did. The light cream colored wolf scratched at his pelt and shook the sleep from his body as he left the cozy hole he had been sleeping in, wincing at the sun that shone into the cave entrance.
Once his eyes were adjusted to the light he looked around the cave, searching for a companion to spend the morning with before starting off the day. "Good morning!", he greeted with a smile to the first wolf he saw.

Redd
{Counselor--Male--11 yrs--Dog pack--Irish setter mix--TAGS:Open/In dog camp}
As the early morning sun rose so did the old dog, Redd. The summer mornings were much kinder to the older mutt than the chilly winters. A long life of running and activity had done a number on his old joints and bones, though he was better off than some others. Redd was a very well respected council member, something he had grown to take pride in. Everything he did was for the good of the pack, passing on his knowledge to the younger generations as best as he could.
This morning was no different than the last. His day would start by greeting the other pack members before they all go about their day. "Morning dear." He repeated to a number of other dogs, greeting them as they left their dens.

Clove
{Hunter/Guard--Female--2 yrs--Dog pack--Husky/Samoyed Mutt--TAGS:Open/In dog camp->Watering hole}
The young dog had awoken early with the birds and ventured from her den. Clove did not always wake up before the rest of the pack but when she did, she made the most of her free time. She left the cozy grove the dogs called home and made the journey to a nearby watering hole. The watering hole had, until recently, been an empty gorge in the ground but every now and then a storm would temporarily fill it with water. By now the water was already almost gone but it still provided a curious dog plenty of entertainment. Clove could smell the scent of many different animals, most prominent was the scent of her own pack but she could also tell that the deer herds had recently passed by. If she had been on a hunt this would have been interesting but for now, she was slightly peeved that these were the two most recent smells. She had hoped to find something a bit more interesting to spend her morning playing with. "Oh well.." She mumbled to herself as she waded into the water. If there was nothing interesting to do outside of the water she would entertain herself within it, away from the early morning heat.
