The crooked jawed tom glanced at the cream-and-white-tabby feline and gave a nod. "Any specific place you want to hunt?" He asked neutrally, giving his tail a lash. Blue eyes flickered around camp, absently noting what he saw and filing it away for later. Palejaw hummed then made a motion for the she-cat to follow, heading out of camp. Finding it better to walk and talk, so they could get to hunting faster.

Shaking out her as she got to the ground, the feline made her away towards the dirt place entrance. She found it was easy to leave that way, for obvious reasons. A small smirk found it's way onto her jaw, as she gave her entire maw a lick to clean it of left over's. Tail waving excitedly as she snuck out of camp, Servalnose climbed up a nearby tree in the dirt place, quick to find a branch that led to another tree branch. This pattern continued until she was far caught the scent of birds. A little known fact about the slender she-cat is that she loved hunting birds, which only came second on her list of favorite thing to do, right after eating birds.

An ear twitched as the scent of the mouse than Tinypaw got stronger. He suddenly paused and took a look around him then quickly spotted the mouse. It was a good-sized mouse, not plump but not skinny either. Lowering his body into a crouch the young tom silently thanked Starclan that he hadn't accidentally scared away the mouse before he noticed it. Softly he took a few steps forward, careful not to step on any twigs or brush any grass. Breathing in the tom prepared to strike, exhaling as his paw lashed out claws unsheathed to deal a death blow to the small mammal. Tinypaw relaxed as the mouse fell to the ground dead, and stood up. Quickly he buried the mouse, so he could come back to it later, before moving on.

"That would be good. Thank you, Icecracker," she murmured and watched the warrior approach Palejaw. As they spoke with each other, Littlestar turned back to Tumblesky and smiled. "How have you been? It's been a long time since we've spoken one on one," she mentioned with a bit of guilt. "Is the elder's den suitable?"

"It's okay," he muttered after he heard the full apology and reasoning. Ripplefang softened a little, but it was still hard for him to look at Blizzardclaw and he stared at his paws. He shuffled them awkwardly and didn't know what to say at first. "It's just hard to get over it," Ripplefang finally admitted and glanced up. Especially because you weren't there, he thought bitterly again.

Blizzardclaw felt awful as he was watching Ripplefang, he wish they would of stayed close. He shouldn’t of let them drift apart, especially when the other needed him most. He sighed and nuzzled his head against Ripplefang’s shoulder once, licking it once. “I know... I’m sorry,” he told him again. All he could do now was be Ripplefang’s friend and make up for abandoning their friendship.

"Hmm," Cloudfoot thought for a moment, nodding his head slowly, "I think that might be a good idea, but the task might be difficult. With what little energy we have left, the others might not be up for the task, but maybe that depends on the cat." His odd-eyed gaze moved from side to side as he studied the thought. Was there really another feasible waterhole out there? "Maybe I'll talk to Littlestar about it," he meowed concludingly, before nodding at Flamerunner, "Thank you." The deputy continued on in silence until a strange, unfamiliar scent wafted into his nostrils. He stopped suddenly, waving his tail for his party to stop, "I've picked up a scent," he said in a quick, hushed voice, "Do you smell that?"

Pinepaw wrestled with his sister until the two littermates found themselves in the clearing outside of the den. Realizing that they were out in the open where anyone, including their mentors, could see them, he felt Acornpaw's weight lift from his body as she broke the play-fight. Pinepaw, still laying on the ground, slowly heaved up to his paws, his legs aching from the tussle. He shook the grass from his fur and smoothed it down. The young apprentice hoped Ravensight didn't see that either. The last thing he wanted in his tired state was to be scolded by the fierce she-cat. Watching Acornpaw walk off in search of her mentor, Pinepaw sat in the clearing, growling to himself. Now he really wouldn't be able to fall back asleep.

Getting some distance from Pinepaw and seeing her mentor sitting in the clearing made her almost forget entirely about the wrestle that just transpired. She raised her tail in a greeting as she neared. However, her paw-steps slowed as she drew closer. Silvermist was talking among a couple other Warriors; she recognized Blizzardclaw, Cinderstep, and Ripplefang. The conversion was being spoken in hushed tones, and the faces grim. Maybe wasn't a good time to disturb. But what was she supposed to do in the meantime? She glanced around the clearing; everyone seemed to either be busy or having a discussion she felt a new Apprentice shouldn't be part of. Considering for a second about ease dropping for some juicy gossip, she decided against it. "Too boring" she mused to herself, making her way to the camp entrance. Acornpaw was basically a brand new Apprentice: going out on her own would probably be looked down upon. She was torn on what to do. So instead she took a seat just outside the entrance to the camp. Pretending she was on guard duty.

Tumblesky dipped his head to his leader as he spoke, "Of course, Littlestar". Padding over to the fresh-kill pile, the elder wondered if there would be enough for everyone. It was quite a pathetic sight. The pile was small, and the fresh-kill in it even smaller. "The prey must be traveling away because of the lack of water.." he concluded. Picking out the fattest mouse he could find, he overheard Mushroomfoot speaking with her mate, Honeymoon. "What's going to happen to us?", the words haunted him. The whole clan seemed so worried about the situation, and he wasn't entirely sure what could be done about it.
Shaking his fur from the thought, Tumblesky made his way over to the Nursery. He knew of all the cats in the clan, expecting Queens were in need of food most. As he entered, the mewing of newborn kittens greeted him. "Nutmeg?" he whispered, dropping the mouse.

Mushroomfoot grew warm under her fur by her mate's doting. "Come now, you know I haven't been pregnant long" she smiled as she turned to lick the belly in question. The joy she felt was short lived as she noticed the crowd growing in the clearing. "What are they talking about?" she wondered aloud. Worry crept back into her mind as it always did. "It's probably about the water and the food.. what are we going to do? Without water there is no food and without food my kits will not grow-" Her thoughts seemed to spill out of her mind and into the world. She turned back to Honeymoon, "What's going to happen?" Barely a whisper.

He stiffened when Blizzardclaw nuzzled and licked his shoulder. Ripplefang wasn't angry now, just flustered and feeling his ears grow hot again from bashfulness. Without words, he gingerly rested his head on top of Blizzardclaw's and purred. "It's okay... it'll be okay," Ripplefang murmured. He wasn't sure what this newfound affection was, but he knew to tread carefully.

Blizzardclaw felt the other slightly stiffen and was going to pull away before the other rested his head against him. He relaxed some at the touch and closed his eyes, purring softly. It was nice to receive affection like this, it wasn’t forced at all and it just felt almost right.
He licked Ripplefang’s fur once before he slowly moved away. He didn’t want to rush anything. “I should of been there for you... I’m sorry I wasn't.”

Silvermist sat awkwardly as the two males conversed. Clearly a conversation she was not a part of. When she thought they wouldn't notice, without a word, she rose to her paws and silently padded away. Silvermist left camp with a cheerful bound in her step and headed out towards the boarders. She knew she should probably train her apprentice but something in her gut was telling her that something far more interesting was near the boarders of camp. As she walked on silent paws, her hazel eyes scanned the area around her. She may have been down wind but no sound escapes her ears. Silvermist cocked her head to the side as she heard the sudden crunch of leaves just off to her left and then what could only be a silhouette shape of a cat. Her hazel eyes followed for a moment before she called out to the cat with the scent she did not recogonize. "You there", she called to Coryn.

Foxpaw sighed as the two young apprentices began to tumble and wrestle but gave an agreeable grunt as their bodies moved away from the den. As he waited until they were out of sight he gave a yawn and layed his chin on his paws for a quick nap.

Honeymoon tilted his head ever so slightly to listen to the words coming from his mate. His eyes shifted towards the ground for a moment as he thought to himself and then gave a tender smile. He asked tenderly thinking a walk would help clear her mind and ease her soul.

He felt Blizzardclaw relax against him, and he smiled. It was nice to finally have this affection reciprocated... but was it in the way that Ripplefang was thinking? "It's okay... you're here now... I think?" he replied with a questioning tone in his voice. Although the two used to be friends when they were apprentices, he wasn't sure if that was going to start again and where their friendship would be going. Ripplefang was still unsure of whether or not the warrior liked toms in general. In the midst of their conversation, he noticed that Silvermist had left and wondered if she was just antsy or impatient.
