Creamflower is eating a fish from the fresh-kill pile, savoring the delicious taste. Seeing that so far the missing cats havent returned after one moon, her worry starts to slightly increase each day, knowing that the Clan might suffer without numbers.

Nodding to his mentor, he followed a trail, a squirrel. He ran ahead, a juicy catch might make his mentor happy! More determined than ever, he swiftly and quietly caught up to the prey. Just as he suspected, it was a squirrel, just beneath a tall tree. Coming to a halt he stalked the creature. It fluffy tail sticking up as it nibbled on something. Stagpaw carefully approached it, with a big leap he hooked his claw into its tail before it had to chance to dart up the tree. He proudly held his catch in his mouth, glad to have had such luck.

He gave a brief nod, and then padded over to his apprentice, "I'll be leading a border patrol, you're coming with" he told Tatteredpaw, then approaching Heatflight, "Heatflight, i'm going to lead a border patrol, care to join?" he mewed. His eyes carefully scanned the clearing, "Opalblossom," he flicked his tail as a sign to come over, "care to join us on a patrol?" he asked.

indentHeatflight looked up as Thornbreeze walked over to him, asking about a patrol. With a soft smile, he nodded. "Sure, I'm free," he replied. The tom watched Opalblossom patiently, ready to go. It was another border patrol, but Heatflight wasn't about to refuse.

He turned to see his mentor calling for him to join the border patrol with him, Opalblossom and Heatflight. He didn't really have time to say anything when the tom was already getting the other two warrior's who was joining the patrol so he just got near the camp entrance to wait for the patrol to head out.

He silently watched his clanmates which were there to being seen. most of them were still who-knows-where, or if even alive, the only Starclan can answer that question. Sighing he landed his tail over his paws and looked up to the leader, who just called for a clan meeting 'hmm, isn't it that time of a season? the gathering huh?' he thought himself.

Hawthorns' hindquarters waggled as he leaped forward. He sunk his sharp teeth into the vole he'd been tracking, snapping its backbone and killing it. He smiled softly, picking it up before padding up the ledge back to camp.

Heronclaw looked up from her mouse, feeling her pulse leap as her leader’s voice rang out over camp for the first time in a days. It sounded stronger than she’d expected for someone that had been too ill to leave her den. Heronclaw felt a shiver of relief, she’d been worried about Rabbitstar’s health ever since she’d receeded back into her den. She’d wanted to check in on her and if there was anything she could do to help with the fever but hadn’t been able to build up the courage to approach. The warrior let out a soft sight, stood then approached the high rock and looked up at the brilliant white cat standing above her. Heronclaw sat down, her eyes scanning her clan mates, or what was left of them, as they gathered to hear what the leader was saying. She turned her attention back to the leader, curious about what she was going to say.

Hearing her name Opalblossom grinned “Oh! Of course, I’ll love to!” She purred, stumbling to her paws eagerly. It would be nice to get out of camp and away from the gloom of camp. Her ears swiveled as she tried to determine what direction Thornbreeze’s voice had come from. The last thing she wanted was to hold up the patrol, with less cats around navigating camp should have gotten easier but in truth it had gotten a bit harder. Opalblossom was beginning to feel slightly panicked until she caught the sound of Heatflight’s response and trotted towards it until Thornbreeze scent was strong enough that she knew she was close to the patrol group. “I’m ready when you are!” She chirped, her tail flicking across the sandy ground. She could hear Tatteredpaw next to her and smiled, happy the apprentice was going with them. It was too bad Sagepaw hadn’t been coming along as well, she’d been meaning to hang out with the two of them more often after the whole disappearance thing but hadn’t seemed to find the time. Not that a patrol would be much good either, she doubted Thornbreeze would allow much socializing. Bringing her thoughts back to the patrol she tilted her head questioningly, “so, where are we headed first?” She asked.

The tom shook his fur out and stretched, then quickly ran after Whitelightning, sitting
by her side, shooting excited, slightly anxious glances to his clanmates around him. The
tip of his tail curled as he waited, looking at the molly standing on the meeting ledge.

Softpaw slowly walked through the forest, catching the scent of the ocean, prey,
and cats. Fresh scent of cats. She simply flicked her ear and continued following
the prey scent. She recognized the scent of a bird, and spotted it pecking at som
ething on the ground. Settling down into a crouch, she shuffled forward slowly, a
nd then leapt, slamming the bird down with her paws and sinking her teeth into it
s throat. As she picked it up she once again got a fresh whiff of cat scent, but onc
e again ignored it. It was probably just another Shoreclan or Summitclan cat hunti
ng. She proudly held it as she walked up to Fernsnap.

Silvertail slinked from the warrior's den, yawning loudly. He barely made his way to his favorite spot outside the den before collapsing again. He had down a lot of training with his apprentice the day before that he felt like he hadn't slept in moons. The rising sun warmed his cool white fur as he purred softly. It wouldn't be long before the whole clan was bustling about in anticipation for the gathering tonight. It would be the two clans first contact since so many cats went missing and Silvertail was sure Rabbitstar would have lots of questions for Ripplestar.

Fernsnap purred softly. "Way to go," she said to her proud apprentice. Her tail flicked eagerly at Softpaw's progress and soon enough she would have to give the apprentice a test. Softpaw may be ready to become a warrior sooner rather than later. "Bury the bird and keep catching prey. I'll be watching," she said, with a smirk and small flick of her tail. She would have to see how well her apprentice did on her own.

Reedstrike watched the tom depart and gather a patrol, now it was for a hunting patrol. He noticed Creamflower eating and he walked over as he searched for his apprentice, giving up eventually as he reached the she-cat. "Morning Creamflower," he greeted her, forcing a kind smile on his face as he searched the camp. "Would you mind coming on a hunting patrol with me?" Although he was more keen on the idea of a border patrol, they needed to keep the pile stocked and dwelling on the missing cats wouldn't help them, no matter how much he wanted to.

Hornetpaw watched as Rabbitstar called the clan to a meeting, and he sent a brief look to his mentor as they joined the forming crowd. He was sure the meeting would be addressing the missing cats, as that seemed to be the main topic of discussion and what else lately. His suspicions remained on Shoreclan, not to mention that Nettlepaw was in the crowd of missing cats. Would they really go that far to get back at them?
