I'm working on my second post now, and I'm normally a much more concise writer but something about this story just makes me want to add in so much detail!
@~stories untold. I hadn't really thought of their exact relations and whether or not they're pre-established, and am happy to go with the flow!

Raymond Stular ~ "Ray" ~ 21 Years Old ~ The Gentleman ~ Thoughtful, Quiet, Observant, Unpredictable
Personality
Ray was raised to understand social expectations made up for him and those in his social class. Chivalrous and polite seem to be in his mantra, however being a natural introvert means he isn't often the man in the middle of a dance hall talking animatedly to the other men around, or asking every girl to participate in a dance, much to his parents' discontent. He is generally good at doing what he is supposed to do, including marrying the lady. He generally views himself as a good person with sound morals, and the principal of going against them is shameful to his perspective. At the same time, he knows he cannot force emotions, no matter how troubled his heart makes him. He can be a bit scatter-brained, forgetful and often needing to do things last minute, but it's rarely with ill intent. For such a quiet-mannered person, his anger and distaste are often felt extensively; when he dislikes someone, he really dislikes them, and when someone angers him, it can be both explosive and never forgotten. To a certain extent, especially with negative emotions, he can be a bit over-dramatic. However, other than in these situations, he can be a bit of a people-pleaser, always thinking of how others will react or think instead of himself.
History & Affections
Raymond grew up in a smaller town with his two parents, grandfather, and a younger sister and a twin brother. The Stular family had always been considered extremely affluent in their community, but things changed when his brother gambled a good fortune away. This moved them to while still higher class, not the absolute elite (although still considerably wealthy). This pushed him in the direction of gaining a marriage quicker than anticipated to balance out the financial loss. They only moved into the city when he was expected to begin courting. It was fun at first until he was pointed in the direction of only a few selections; at least he got a preference choice between them. Raymond thought he loved the Lady, or perhaps his parents managed to convince him he loved her. He wasn't entirely shocked that he was in an arranged marriage: mutually beneficial, and she seemed pleasant enough. Tolerating her for the rest of his life seemed entirely possible, to which he assumed meant love. This, however, flipped on its head as he met the Governess. Trapped in a loveless marriage with unrequited love is not where he thought he'd end up.
