And I guess I'll stop... But we have a lot more Latin sentences and words we use in our everyday lives in Italy. Well, the ones who studied a bit, at least xD
I took Latin in school, that's pretty normal for a certain tipe of school in Italy, but I didn't like it one bit... Still I learned at least how to translate.
In our churches there are a lot of Latin inscriptions everywhere, if you happen to visit check them out and try to translate them!
(Also, there are a lot of English words that are Latin o come directly from this language)
