I need some advice, please. Their side is the a VR Christmas 2009 pet while mine is a Feb. 2009 pet with a VR and rare outcome. If mine came out as a rare, how would I make this fair to them?

in terms of trading value is this fair? i feel like because the tess horse is 2009 that makes it worth more in that aspect but i dont know which is more desirable

It's a fair trade and from my personal experience both pets have around the same demand. A few people might overpay for true dates, but almost everyone value true dates and rereleases the same.
It's just up to you to decide which pet you like more
