the pup can grow to be rare/very rare but would this be fair/overpaying for them ?
i dont usually deal with r/vr trades especially with older pets so any help would be nice

If you follow the retired list, your t7=7-8 '09 rares which makes it unfair to you.
If not, a '08 vr = '09 vr plus a '10 rare so they're overpaying with the 2 recent rares.

A 09 rare is roughly 30C$. (Just using this as a middle ground, they can be more or less.)
But the name (creator, nick) may add value while, demand may take away. I’d go off of a 30 cS range personally as 19 cS = 1 usd

very unfair to you. 200 C$ would only get to about a low-mid September list pet. your cat is an '08 special release and was on the main list, pretty high up there, and is worth a lot more than the C$ and recent rares they're offering.
