personality: This black tabby is a great intellectual, who loves to train apprentices, but always makes sure to spend time with his family, as he loves family time. He's a very bubbly pony, but also is very persnickety about his coat and tail, spending a lot of time grooming himself and never getting muddy on purpose! He really hates snow cause of that.
brief history: Glimmernight was born in a HUGE family, so huge that nobody really noticed him and he got left alone a lot. He was often very jealous. He decided to leave, quite upset and irritated at the lack of attention from his parents, and formed his own life with his new mate, before they died from a car crash, to his great distression. He wandered alone for moons before finding ThicketClan.

the ferocious defender of the family. also rose's real mother. when she was born she always felt awkward around toms. she didn't really want a mate, but she was also scared of being alone. when she found out she had homosexual feelings, she was worried that she still wouldn't find a partner. she was overjoyed when she met everly, but everly was sterile, and couldn't have kits. so nyx herself was rose's mother, having found a surrogate father. she loves her mate and daughter very dearly.

a small, timid but loving she-cat she was originally a kittypet. but her twoleg threw her out when they found out she was infertile. not to mention she was lesbian and didn't want to have a mate. she met nyx shortly after being left by her owners. nyx was sweet, with a tough shell and a soft, tender inside. they loved eachother, and soon, nyx gave birth to rose, their beloved daughter.

tough, adventurous and even boisterous, rose loves to explore. her momma, everly is a little overprotective in her opinion, though
her mum, nyx pretty much lets her get away with whatever she wants, provided she doesn't do anything stupid. rose thinks that nothing could ever go wrong in life, and is exited to meet her new clan.

born on the streets, she was quickly toughened up. when she was young, her mother told her to go get a life, before kicking her out of her den. nyx never thought that her mother meant well, and was heartbroken. later though, she discovered she had homosexual feelings and began to think that this meant she would never find a family. when she met everly, she knew that she loved her. later everly told her she was sterile. though nyx had never wanted to have kits, she agreed to be the mother. they found a surrogate father, and nyx was soon pregnant with kits. she gave birth to one she-cat, who they called rose. they now live happily with mistyclan.

everly~
her owner was a cat breeder, who had bred her from lines of magnificent cats. he had been intending to use her as his prize cat, but when he found out she was infertile, he left her on the city streets. everly knew by now that she was lesbian and had accepted that openly. she met nyx by circumstance, when nyx saved her from a dog. they became mates, and nyx had rose. it was everly who suggested that nyx be called 'mum' and she herself be called 'momma', so rose didn't get confused. they live in mistyclan now, and everly is now a full-time nursery queen, helping to babysit other she-cat's kits.

the young kit was born on the streets to nyx and everly. she was soon told that her father was a surrogate, and that while he visited rarely, everly and nyx were her parents. at first she didn't understand what 'lesbian' meant, but she soon understood, and even supported it. she loves her mothers, and loves mistyclan. she is a bit nervous about meeting new cats though.

rough and grumpy, but he has a soft spot for kits. he never had, nor wanted a mate or kits of his own. he loves telling exaggerated stories, and squirrels. he hates spiders, the rain, and those who annoy him. if he could have one thing in all the world, he would choose, someone to be friends with. he has many friends, but they all seen pretty busy.

ginger used to be a kittypet as a kit. but he ran away and couldn't get home, so he lived in the city. he eats scraps left out by random twolegs, and sleeps wherever there is safety. as he grew older, he taught himself to hunt and fight, but it wasn't until he saw an elderly tom getting picked on by some other, younger cats, did he begin to wonder what he would do when he got older. he left and travelled for many days until he came to mistyclan. now getting farther in his years, he is a senior warrior of his new clan.

small, timid and shy, she usually hangs near the back of the pack. she is actually quite a good climber and very agile, but she is to shy to accept a compliment. she is very nervous and often hates fighting, preferring to hunt instead. she often finds herself sitting at the edge of the forest, watching the sun set, dissolving the mists.

no one really knows much of her backstory. she was found as an abandoned kit by a nice elderly twoleg, who sadly passed away when she was around apprentice aged. the other twolegs came to take the body away, and one of them noticed her. the twoleg made a grab for her. but terrified, she ran right out the door, into the woods. she wandered for a long time before she was found weak and exausted by a passing mistyclan patrol. now she is an apprentice, and her mentor is wolftail, the deputy.

personality: Goldencloud is a bit of an airhead, and she tends to get lost in her own thoughts more often than not. She’s awful at keeping secrets, but she’s nothing but sincere about the love she has for her friends. Goldencloud is always there to lend an ear to anyone who needs it, and she does her best to keep things to herself, it’s just that she has trouble lying to people and spills everything on her mind whenever the littlest bit prompted.
brief history: Goldencloud was born in a home and raised as a kittypet by the name of Goose. She loved her twolegs, and to this day she doesn’t understand what changed. One day they were fine and she was sleeping comfortably at the foot of a warm bed, and then next she was out in the rain while her twolegs left in their strange Monster to never return.

personality: Snailswirl may look like a grump but he has a heart of gold. He has a very obvious soft spot for young cats, and finds joy in training them to the best of his abilities. He has a lot of pride in what he does, and a soft determination that makes him a formidable force.
brief history: Snailswirl was a proud loner that grew up in the alleys of the nearest twoleg camp, and always had a soft spot for any abandoned kits. He’d take them under his wing, and teach them how to provide for themselves, and then leave them to their own devices once they had a hang of it. One day he decided to wander away from the twoleg camp, and after a few days of aimlessly wandering, he came across KeyClan, and has decided to stay to help with their young. Will he stay? Only time will tell.

Lavaripple is very overprotective, and comes across as fairly rude on occasion. She means well, she’s just unwilling to be trampled over. She’ll do anything to protect her family, and she isn’t at all shy about making it known. Lavaripple is one of the best friends you could ever ask for once she gets to trust you, but you’ll have to work hard to get to that stage, and a lot just don’t see it as worth it.
Rustwhisper is a very sweet molly, and can not stomach any kind of violence. She’s an absolute pacifist, and she cries when her mate gets into scuffles. Always willing to give anyone a chance, it gets Rustwhisper stepped on every so often by cats who don’t deserve her kindness, but this doesn’t stop her from being kind to everyone regardless. After all, just because a few are rotten doesn’t mean everyone is.
Karatkit, for starters, is a lot more introverted than her mothers. She doesn’t like confrontation, and she doesn’t like talking to strangers. She does her best to try and pass under other cats radar; to blend into the shadows. It doesn’t usually work, both because of her fur colour and the fact that she’s an absolute klutz and constantly brings others attention to her just by the sheer amount of tripping she does.
brief histories;;
Lavaripple was born a loner, and learned early on how to take care of herself. She never got along well with her parents, and she got along even worse with the other loners in the area. When she was around 15 moons old she had been picked up by some twolegs, and despite fighting against it valiantly, she was brought to their home and kept indoors as they tried to make her stay. It was here that she met Rustwhisper, and as much as she hated the twolegs, she is grateful to them to a small extent.
Rustwhisper was raised to be the picture perfect kittypet. Her parents were kittypets, and she was groomed by them to be the perfect kit so that she got adopted by a nice family of twolegs. They also had other cats, but she could never seem to get along with them for how stuck up they were. When her twolegs came home with Lavaripple she assumed that the loner would be the same, but she’s been pleasantly proved wrong over the moons and is glad to call her her mate now.
Karatkit was born just after her mothers had left the twolegs. They had been driven out after Lavaripple attacked some of the other cats they lived with, and Rustwhisper had followed her out without a second thought. Karatkit thinks this is very cute and romantic, but it did lead to them having to live in back alleys and scary looking forests for a while before they stumbled across KeyClan. While they lived on their own Karatkit has grown used to only having her mothers around, and is scared of the idea of living with other cats, but she’s doing her best to push aside that fear and be brave, because it’s what her mama wants.

His leader tells him to spend time with the kits and apprentices, but he never has a fun time doing it. He finds them annoying. Aspenclaw's mate passed away which may be a cause of his grumpiness.

brief history: Aspenclaw, similar to Shinegaze, was in a rogue group and was in high power. His group was rivals with Shinegaze's and Myrtleshade's. Aspenclaw was the leader. He rivaled them for their cruelty. He would not stand for it. They invited Aspenclaw to join them. He refused. In a great battle between the groups, Aspenclaw met Shinegaze, or at the time, Two. He was about to attack her, but refrained for some reason.

personality: Shinegaze is a ticking time bomb. She is light-hearted, but can be angered so easily. She snaps fast if treated wrong. Insulted, threatened, or just other cats being stupid. While being pretty on the outside, her emotions may be ugly. Cats think something may have happened to her in her past that made her this way, but they'd be incorrect.

brief history: Shinegaze was in a rogue group, and was also known as Two. Two was in high power. They had levels, a warrior from Mistyclan, Myrtleshade, who was named twenty-two at the time, was in this group as well. Shinegaze was rank 2. Twenty-two grew to power taking rank 6 after killing the previous rank 6. Two admired her devotion. Killing a high rank was difficult. A cat had killed the rank one, and banished Two. They had no reason but went through with this action. Two accepted this, as they were higher in power than her, and she's lucky they only banished her and didn't kill her. She went to live in the woods.

personalities: ✿ Glintheart is sassy, fun, and spunky. She has lots of energy and loves to joke around, sometimes ending up making a little trouble in the process. But because she's so friendly, most of the cats in the Clan don't mind her. She has a lot of love for her mate Lusterdust, who she does her best to protect, even though she doesn't really need it. She is also very protective over Jinglekit and loves him immensely.
✿ Lusterdust is sweet, quiet, and affectionate. She prefers stealth over other methods of fighting and hunting. She is a bit shy but opens up pretty quickly once she gets comfortable around other cats. Thanks to having Glintheart as a mate she has been able to step outside her comfort zone a bit more. She was quite the loner before they met, but Glintheart makes her feel complete. Her mate's attempts to protect her amuse her, so she lets it happen.
✿ Jinglekit is a selective mute and doesn't talk to many cats other than his mothers. He is very polite to everyone though, and enjoys being around other cats even if he doesn't really contribute to the conversation. He just enjoys the atmosphere of friends and family being around him. He gets nervous if he's away from his mothers for too long, so he likes to stick by them and stand underneath them.
brief histories: ✿ Glintheart was born a kittypet in a small town who was doted on and spoiled by her Twolegs. She didn't have a very troublesome history being cared for so well, so she is a bit unfamiliar with the harshness of wild life. One day in the middle of a harsh snowstorm she decided that she wanted to explore the world outside, so she bolted out when her owners weren't looking, and they couldn't find her in the storm.
✿ Lusterdust was born a loner in the woods near the neighborhood where Glintheart lived. Her father was killed by a badger when she was young, so now she has a fear of them. Her mother raised her and her littermates by herself until she disappeared one day for food and did not come back. She and her littermates separated a couple moons after, and a few seasons passed before she met Glintheart and they became mates.
✿ Jinglekit was born to Lusterdust and their surrogate father, an old friend who was a stray living in the town Glintheart was from. He didn't really know the surrogate, and grew up with his two mothers being familiar as his parents. He knows that his family, even though a little different, is still completely normal and actually really likes having two mothers. He also doesn't mind how much they totally spoil him...

Shadowheart is very calm and levelheaded. She tends to think things through, and she is often holding Dappleblossom back when the tabby is trying to rush forward. Just because she doesn't prefer to act, doesn't mean she isn't fiercely protective of her family. If you hurt Dapple or Gold, prepare for fury and pain and death upon you and your family. (61)
Dappleblossom:
Where Shadowheart is peaceful, Dappleblossom is a more claws-on kind of cat. By which I mean if you anger her, or threaten her mate or son, then you'd best be prepared for her claws on your pelt. Though Shadowheart usually calms her down when she gets mad about something that she doesn't need to be mad, even her mate knows better than to stand in the way of someone hurting Goldkit or Shadowheart. (Though usually, if someone is stupid enough to be threatening her family, then Shadowheart is right beside her attacking.) (92)
Goldkit:
Goldkit is still pretty young, but he's already displaying a protective fierceness strong enough to rival Dappleblossom's. He's almost old enough to be an apprentice, but he's also large for his age. Very protective of his mamas, Goldkit will growl at anyone who tries to hurt them or take him away from them. Except dogs. Because...well, they're dogs. (58)
brief histories: Shadowheart
Shadowheart was born a traveler, whos family worked almost like a clan, but with a much more nomadic sense. They wandered the land, and when mated pairs found a place to settle down, they did so. The group often picked up as many cats at new places as they left behind.

When Shadowheart was about eighteen moons old, the group came to a twolegplace. Shadow (her name at the time) met a pretty golden tabby kittypet. Shadow wasn't part of a mated pair, but she begged the leaders to let her stay in the twolegplace. Her parents, who were still with the group and technically responsible for her despite her age, refused, which made the leaders refuse her request as well.

Desperate to stay with Dapple, whom she had grown to love in the three moons they had stayed in the twolegplace, Shadow hunted down Dapple's house, and that night asked if she would be Shadow's mate so that the two of them could stay together forever. Dapple agreed, and the two went back to the leaders. Shadow presented the two of them as a mated pair, and asked again to stay behind. This time, the laws of the group were on her side, and she was permitted to stay with her mate.

Shadow became a kittypet for a short while, and recently, the two found a tom kittypet who agreed to let help them have a child. Shadow was the one to bear the litter, and when little Gold was born, Shadow realized that while she didn't mind being a kittypet for their son, she wanted him to live free in the wild. And so the hunt for a clan began.(282)

Dappleblossom
With her personality, you might not think of Dappleblossom as a former kittypet. But she was, born and raised for almost her entire life. There was a brief period when she got lost exploring in twolegplace, but she found her way back a few days later.

When Dappleblossom was twenty moons, she met a loner named Shadow who had golden markings a lot like hers, she even had the same gold heart on her shoulder! Dapple spent some time getting to know Shadow over the next three moons, and quickly fell in love with the black tabby.

After several moons, Shadow came to Dapple's home, and explained her...situation, as well as asking if they could be mates. Dapple agreed, and that night she met Shadows family and group for the first time. After they got the groups permission to stay, Dapple introduced Shadow to her twolegs, who adopted Shadow as well.

Some time later, Shadow asked if they could have kittens, and Dapple asked the toms in the neighborhood until they found one who would help them get kittens. Protecting Shadow through the pregnancy, Dapple agreed with her mate when she said she wanted little Gold to grow up in a clan, and has since been helping her search through the choices. (212)

Goldkit
Goldkit is a bit of a protective mess. He tends to get extremely attached to cats (or things) and protect them with all his might. He's barely four moons old, but he still gets very attached and protective. Like the time, when he was two moons old, and he decided that he wanted to keep an shiny ball from the fake tree their twolegs put up in his nest. When Shadow and Dapple tried to tell him no, he fluffed up and curled around it.

Born only four moons ago, there isn't much else to say about Goldkits past. He was born to Shadowheart and Dappleblossom, and doesn't remember much about the twolegplace he was born in. He does have strong memories of a warm hand petting him and his mothers, but other than that....well, being outside in the sun is way better than being locked up. (147)
