Blizzardclaw smiled some as the two mentors of two of his daughters agreed to allow him to take them. However he did hear the disappointment in Shallowclaw's voice, he glanced some at Rockhopper who was with the litter now. He was almost inclined to ask if it was okay if the other tom could join them but it was more of a family thing. Besides he wanted to spend time seeing his daughters hunt, he hadn't gotten to do much of that lately. "I'll tell you how they both do later when we return. Thank you so much."

When he glanced at the apprentices, he noticed how Wolfpaw was now out of the den. He had let out a sigh, he probably should take him too or perhaps Cloudfoot would set up another hunting patrol and he could go with them. Afterall that's what a deputy was suppose to do was set up multiple patrols for hunting especially when prey has been lower than usual for leaf-bare coming soon. "If you go out to hunt can you take Wolfpaw? He's good but sometimes he does what he wants..." He asked the two warriors as he turned back to them.

Spottedpaw laughed as she had listened to Tempestpaw, she was right her father basically had read their minds. "That's crazy how he did that," she told her before looking over at Banditpaw to greet her. "Good morning." When she noticed Rockhopper coming over to them, she waved her tail before curling against him. He wasn't their father but he was like family. "That'd be great! We haven't gotten too since we've all gotten better at it!" She was excited now for sure.

He smiled down at the three and licked Spottedpaw's head between her ears. "B-blizzardclaw is g-getting permi-permision from y-your mentors, w-we'll be o-out soon" he purred softly and lifted his head, wattching Blizzardclaw move around the camp. He felt kinda bad that the other tom had left to go ask the others. It was his idea, he sould have done that atleast. Feeling guilty, he wraped his tail over Spottedpaw and sighed.
Should he be feeling guilty? Blizzardclaw seemed pretty happy to take just the two of them hunting, and he really wanted to talk to him about his dream. Maybe he should start paying more attention to himself as much as he did others. Was that selfish? He wasnt sure.

Some cats would probably think Spottedpaw was clingy to Rockhopper but he was like a second father almost - maybe closer to an older brother. She liked spending time with him and her father together, definitely reminded her of her kithood when it was always them all together. When the older tom licked her head, she purred softly and stayed close to him as she hadn't realized how cold she was until feeling his slight heat beside her.

"Looks like he got permission... Is he bringing Wolfpaw though?" She sighed once. She didn't mind the tom but always got a bit jealous how he got to be spending time with her father due to him being Wolfpaw's mentor. Plus when he started mentoring Wolfpaw he wasn't able to spend as much time with them the last two moons before becoming apprentices. "Also is Petalpaw still able to come without him being able to ask Mistwing?"

He smiled softly. Honestly he loved all of the clan but he couldnt really help but to be mostly attatched to Blizzardclaw and his kits, he did help raise them. and Blizzardclaw was his mentor once. "I dont thi-think that he's br-bringing wo-lfpaw." He looked around the camp "B-but now tha-that you m-mention it. I-i havent se-seen Mistwing f-for a while." He licked his muzzle and tilted his head twords the sky. "maybe w-we can go b-bird hunting. T-they havent mi-migrated yet, i th-think"

She nodded a bit but took a breath, she hadn't been able to catch a bird before in training with Cinderstep. She had learned but not been successful, however with the right support she thinks she could be able to succeed while they hunted today. "Probably a better idea than searching for mice or rabbit that have been hiding for what feels like moons."

"W-well when your f-father gets he-here, we ca-can get you-your sisters and h-hunt"

As the warriors stirred from their slumber and emerged from their dens, Cloudfoot heaved himself to a stand. He growled at how much energy it took just to move his skinny, wasted legs, but unfortunately with what little energy he had, the deputy had no choice. Cloudfoot was still the deputy of SierraClan, whether he was bone-thin or plump as a seal.

He began to slowly walk around the clearing, taking in the chatter and the movements of the Clan. Blizzardclaw and his daughters were headed out with Rockhopper to hunt, and various conversations had popped up here and there. He came to the decision to send out a small border patrol. Blizzardclaw's party would hunt and help track down outsiders should there be any in the premises, but Cloudfoot knew that the borders needed to be marked.

He noticed Flamerunner resting near the puny fresh-kill pile and decided to approach him, selecting his first candidate, "Morning, Flamerunner," Cloudfoot meowed, dipping his head in respect for the young tom, "Have you eaten yet?"

The movement of Spottedpaw and her sisters awakened Pinepaw. Though he was determined to fall back asleep, he could sleep no longer. Pinepaw growled in dismay and slowly heaved himself up to his paws, deciding that he might as well get up from his nest. He climbed out of the apprentice's den, his blue eyes adjusting to the morning light, and looked around. He could see many cats, all scrawny and starving, talking among each other. He spotted his mother Icecracker sitting near her den across the clearing. Pinepaw growled again as pain suddenly squeezed his stomach. He needed food, but it was always an everyday question whether there was any. Pinepaw made his way over to the fresh-kill pile, only seeing scraps and a few small, scrawny mice. He picked some of the scraps, and chowed it down desperately, licking his whiskers as he swallowed the food. It wasn't much, but it definitely gave him a little bit of energy. Deciding to save the rest for the Clan, Pinepaw decided to move back toward the apprentice's den in hopes he could slink back in and try to fall back asleep.

Rockhopper smiled down at the small cat and got up slowly and streatched. "W-while we w-wait, im g-going to go t-to the med-medicine den" He licked the cats head and ears before padding down to the medicine cats den. Maybe the medicine cats would understand his dream, they use to get messeges from starclan all the time, right? But what if they were busy? would it be bad if he bother them over a dream? They already have enough to worry about, they dont need to be botherd by his dream.

He stopped outside the medicine den and lowerd his head, ears twitching. he let out a low whine. Was he being a bother? he didnt want to bother them. Maybe he should go back. But if he went back did that mean that he would have lied to Spottedpaw? he said that he was going to talk to the medicine cats, so if he turns around right now he would have been lying right?

Rockhopper let out a slightly louder whine, before he dropped to the ground and coverd his face with his paws. What kind of cat would want to be friends with a lyer!? Would Spottedpaw hate him if he turned around right now? Of course she would! that would make him a lyer! and if he lied then no one would trust him!

Due to restless sleep, she woke up much later compared to Cloudfoot. Littlestar licked her chest as an attempt to look decent before glancing around the camp and searching for someone to talk to. So much had been going on that she hadn't been paying attention to individual cats like she usually did. Fortunately for her, Littlestar saw her deputy doing the same thing that she was thinking of anyways, so she saw no reason to make up excuses.

She made her way over to Flamerunner's sister by the warriors' den and purred in greeting, dipping her head. "Good morning, Icecracker. How are you doing? Did you sleep well?" Littlestar asked.

~Despite the soft snoring coming from the warriors around her, Mistwing hadn't gotten a blink of sleep all night. The grumbling of her belly and pain in her side kept her awake, no matter how many times she tried to close her eyes. At the first peak of the sun, she decided she wouldn't bear the restlessness anymore and sat up. She nodded her head politely to a few warriors who were already awake, and headed out of the den. There was sun, but a little more then the amount that she hoped for. Mistwing pleaded that rain would come soon, rain the warriors could collect and cherish. She had not the slightest idea of who she was pleading to, now that the idea of StarClan was discarded, but she just could hope that the darkest cloud could bring even a small drop of water. Mistwing sat wondering for a good amount of time before shaking herself back to reality and started to look for her apprentice, Petalpaw.~
