Old account found!!!

Hi! I just found an old account I had completely forgotten about! I have not been on it or adopted from it since 2008! Could I please switch to my older account and use it instead? after the move I can contact an admin or make a post and this one can be deleted after that.. I just would like to be able to log back into my older account and not be banned!

I sent a password reset to the old email I used, all i have to do is activate the reset password, i didn't want to do that or anything until I knew i would be safe.

So if I log into my old account and never log into this one or have it deleted after I do, am I safe from being banned?
