name ; Magnar | age ; 6 1/2 years| gender ; Brute | rank ; Fighter| wanted rank ; Lead Fighter| crush ; no| strengths ; fighting, hunting | weaknesses ; tracking, swimming
A tall, massive, scarred dark brown wolf with cold, angry golden eyes. Every ounce of his body is covered in thin, rippling muscles. His pelt is thick and coarse, hinting that he was not born in these warmer climates. But perhaps the most noteworthy thing the fact that he is missing three toes from his left front paw, has bear claw marks from his ribcage down to his left flank, and is missing a chunk of his tail.

Magnar's strength is legendary. So is his ability to keep grudges and be possibly the most stubborn individual in the pack. He is hardworking, serious, loyal to his pack to the bitter end, fearless and absolutely ruthless. He is the definition of aggressive. Disrespect anyone he cares about, and he is going to be on you. He does not play games, and does not forgive. He is hardworking - how do you think he got so good at killing? - having honed his skills from the time he could walk. He is very blunt and honest. You asked his opinion or he thinks it would help you? Your getting it. Your emotions can and will take a backseat to what he perceives is the truth. That said, Blood is surprisingly perceptive and smart in some situations. Don't think his size makes him a big, lumbering dummy. That will be your first and last mistake. Overall, his massive stature, uncanny battle-smarts, desire to protect his pack, insane work ethic, and unbelievable courageousness make him one of the most reliable members in the pack, in addition to him being one of the best fighters.
However, as far his social life goes... heh. Antisocial is being kind. If he is approach you it is for orders or a report, because he heard a rumor and wants answers, or because fangs and claws are about to fly. Perhaps the worst thing about him? He hates the dogs. He wants them all out of his pack, or better yet dead. He considers them to be devouring the resources of the pack, and completely useless - why? Because he knows, just knowssomeone is going to break the laws and pop out a wolfdog pup. The dogs are useless, but at least they can eat them if there's a famine. But he is just waiting for someone to break the rules....
Magnar is one of those people that is easy to hate. His ability to do damage and "unfounded hatred" - especially towards the dogs - is seen as just unacceptable, which has made his reputation plummet. Blood experienced a live-changing event that taught him to hate dogs. He was born into a small pack - literally 7 wolves - that lived miles away. Life was rough, but they were family to each other, and due to their loyalty and unique skillsets they were able to thrive in the valley they resided in. Magnar faced everything, from hawks trying to steal pups to fully grown bears. The pack seemed invincible, until the hunters came. Easy enough to evade... but they had their hunting dogs helped destroy his pack. The dogs hassled the wolves, making it impossible for them to rest and hunt. He watches as these hunters and dogs worked together to slowly kill his family by weakening them, and then slewing them one by one while he, their strongest fighter, could merely watch. Mangar was the only survivor, and he only lived due to his previous alpha's sacrifice, his own incredible strength and some luck. But that event crushed him. He will never forget what those dogs did. When he joined this pack two years ago, he vowed to protect his pack and Thalia, his alpha, until he was dead twice over, never allowing the pain of the past to consume him. He never confessed his life to anyone, and has no intentions of doings so. But after Thalia's most recent move, letting these treacherous, weak mongrels in this pack, some as fully fledged members? Oh he's big mad. He understands the rules. And he understand they were made to be broken. At this point, he is just waiting for the inevitable to happen..

[size=85]name ; Lydalia | age ; 4 years| gender ; Female | Breed: Chesapeake Bay Retriever rank ; Hunter| wanted rank ; Lead Hunter, at the bare mininmum| crush ; open| strengths ; hunting, tracking | weaknesses ; fighting, swimming
A good example of her species. Lydalia is a petite yet lean pure dark brown Chesapeake Bay Retriever. She is covered in short, dense curls, as is namesake for her breed. She has intelligent, dark chocolate eyes. No noteworthy scars.
___________________________________________________________
Lydalia appears to be a very charismatic, hardworking, sweet individual. Every time she has the opportunity to help with whatever task is available she steps in, ready give 100% effort and commitment. She is also very kind - she wants to help every individual, as she sees them all as equals. Which leads into the problematic side of her personality. She tends to overlook things, be prone to worrying and can be a bit mistrustful to the point of paranoia. Additionally, she is very thoughtful dog, and tends not to overlook the obvious. She believes everyone is equal, so why are dogs and wolves allowed the same opportunity for a rank? Sure a wolf is stronger, but should a dog arise that is more talented she believes they should have equal opportunity. She is also concerned for the dogs' future at the wolves paws. What should happen if one of them slips up and ruins it for everyone? Still, this is a very small part of her psyche at the moment. Currently, she is exceptionally grateful to the wolves for their patience and hospitality, and strives to be the best version of herself she can possibly be. However, should she be pushed there is a cunning side lurking on the parameters of her mind - a though that absolutely terrifies her. Survival is the number one priority, although she has never been pushed to confront the inner demons she cowers from.
Lydalia was born as a shelter dog, and adopted by a lone man who owned a small farm out in the middle of nowhere. She was basically his hunting and fishing partner, learning how to catch every type of game on every terrain with her specialty being water. As soon as her human disappeared, Lydalia felt initial remorse, but then she felt a sense of freedom and adventure that completely overweighed her grief. That is something that scares her even now - she wonders if she is an inherently good individual at heart, which is one of the reasons she pushes herself so hard to provide for the pack. Fake it 'till you make it, right?
