Facts!

Thrinton's holiday emphasizes on their existing values of determination. Santa is portrayed as a man so determined to deliver gifts, he never sleeps and refuses to die. The reindeer are similar persistent, undying creatures, with Rudolph having the most willpower of the pack. His red nose shines from pure determination.
The evergreen branches of the solstice tree represents persistence to them, too. It's strong throughout the storms of spring, the heat of summer, the winds of fall, and the cold of winter.
The symbolism of the winter solstice representing determination is because New Year is almost here. You were strong, you got through almost the entire year! Here's to many more.

Facts!

I probably don't have to say this, but Twodorian holidays are replete with adoption. While Twodorian mums adopt any waif they find year-round, the solstice season is when they seriously crack down on them. Not a single orphan will remain by New Year's eve. They will all be adopted into a loving home.
Some Twodorian mums become ridiculously vengeful if the child came from a bad place. Spears flying and fists flashing, they will hunt down the guilty parties.
As for children, they are showered with presents. Twodorians tend to spoil kids during the holidays. While they show love and endless affection all year round, this season they get to splurge on a ridiculous amount of toys.
