”Thank you! Will do. Have a nice day.” she said over her shoulder as she made her way out the door. Finally. Time to go and enjoy some time out in the mountains for a while. Ashly took a sip of her beverage and sigh of content escaped from her mouth. The young woman made her way over to her truck and climbed into the driver seat. “Ready to finally get going girl?” she asked her dog, who in return woofed in response.
Ashly chuckled, then started the drive towards the mountains. It wasn’t too far away, it was more of a trail in the mountains but there were places were people could sit in the open fields and admire the view. It had been her place of peace for so long and she loved every moment of it. The peace and quiet, the view, the sound of nature and just being able to relax. Ashly pulled into the parking lot and parked the truck. She was glad that it wasn’t a long drive to the mountains but it sure was chilly. Grabbing her blanket, books, snacks and her drink, she was ready to go. “Come on girl, let’s go.” Ashly said, helping the shepherd down to the ground.
