"oh.." Kir shook her head "no, i was just thinking." she half smiled

"Oh. Alright!" Serra said. she reached the end of the path and stepped onto the sidewalk. then she paused.

[(Jessica)]

Whats wrong?" kira asked "why've you stopped?"

[lunerchild]

Serra backed up without a word back into the woods. then, two tall men walked past, dressed all in grey. Serras eyes watched them, full of fear.

[(Jessica)]

"whats wrong? who are they?" Kira asked more urgently, watching the two men

Serra shushed Kira, but the men had heard her and one turned and saw her. "Crud! Run!"

[(Jessica)]

Kira ran "why?!" she shouted at Serra, Kira was scared and she didnt even know why

"Because I said so!" she yelled. Her voice was full of fear. "These guys know about us! They are part of the reason I had to move and why my dad is gone!" then, anger burned inside of her. Cold, dark anger. She stopped running.

[(Jessica)]

Kira stopped just after her "if were supposed to be running why have you stopped?!" She asked Serra was scaring her and confusing her, and she didnt like it, she could feel the fire begin to burn beneath her eyes

One of the men jumped out to grab her. She ducked and brought her foot out. she felt it connect with the bottom of his jaw. The man collapsed and Serra looked at Kira. "NOW we can run!" she said with anger in her voice
