what traditions do you have, if any?: we usually drink hot chocolate, decorate gingerbread houses/men on christmas along with watching christmas movies. before bed, we all ways read the night before christmas. on new years, we usually watch all the new year specials on netflix.

what traditions do you have, if any?: On Christmas Eve in the evening my family opens this box that my mum puts together. It usually consists of a hot drink, some lollies and an activity for us all.

what traditions do you have, if any?: — my dad’s family comes over on christmas day for dinner. we all bring food and it’s pretty much a second thanksgiving dinner.
— my mom, dad, and i all attend my church’s midnight candlelit service on christmas.
— we have to decorate the tree together. it’s viewed as bad luck of we’re not all there to help.
— me, my dad, my mom, and my brother each have a special ornament. our respective ornaments can only be hung by us. mine is my first teddy bear, it’s not even the size of my palm. my dad’s is a fire truck ornament from his childhood. my mom’s is a “my first trip to disney” ornament she got when she was a little girl (disney world had only been open for very few years). my brother’s is an ornament of wacko (from animaniacs, his favorite show as a young child).
— my dad, even though i am not a small child, sits in a rocking chair and reads me the christmas story from this old cloth book that previously belonged to my grandmother. this happens on christmas eve.
— my dad’s family comes over on new year’s eve and we play cards and the adults drink (very small amounts) until the ball drops.
