oh gosh this lil monster thingy dragon thingy is super cute,, omg i absolutely adore them!! 9/10,, i don't have a good field in dragon like characters so idk what's an amazing design or not but wow this chair is SUPER cute! the palette is relatively simple and I enjoy that! i'm also a big sucker for spots.

not a big fan of the colors i'm gonna have to admit. the design is nice though, but the flannel doesn't fit her, neither does the tail bow. she doesn't really look like a opossum either, she looks like a cat /

oh my god i'm such a sucker for edgy designs and edgy character shjgsjhNKJHFKEJ

i especially adore the yellow teeth, they add such a chill factor to him, making him look more unsettling than pure white teeth could. the colors fit together so nicely, and he's just so pleasing to look at

the only critique i have is that i find his markings plain. some characters it works with, but i really feel like stripes like that on his ears. also maybe add a clear ref of his tail (if he has one :0 !)

Personally I don't like neons, especially non-aesthetic/pleasing ones. If the eyes had been different, maybe a color that complimented the bright blue hair?, I'd probably say something differently, but it's just a personal choice of color preferences and I can't really hate on that. Overall really nice design, his concept/background is very unique and I can't wait to see what you do with him!

Edit to answer some questions from below;; The marking on her shoulder is her tribe's mark or sign. The species is otter/ferret/feline. I'd agree that the fur markings she has are pretty crazy, and I would in no way expect anyone to get them perfect. I can't add anything to her, hence why I wanted to get some comms and maybe turn her into a fursona. :) thanks for the response, I loved your critiques ^^

This is Jasiri, she's from a Species called Saukko here on CS, but I love her too much not to share at least once.
Despite being a quite aquatic species Jasiri resides in South Africa, thriving on the African plains.
She's adventurous, haughty, bossy, and extremely territorial. She shares her home with a small pack of
African Wild Dogs, and is close with the land and it's inhabitants. Jasiri is the Mokkatan Plain's (the plain where she lives)
tribe leader, of sorts, and is the one that the animals go to if there is trouble.
I would really like to anthropomorphise her and do an A.U where she's a P.I but I haven't found the time, haha.

8/10 ;; She has interesting anatomy, almost like a cross between a cat and an otter (not sure if that's what the species is suppose to be). Overall, I like the colour scheme, especially the orange accents of the paw pads, nose, and mouth. They really pop out against the monochrome palette. I think her markings are a bit too "wild" to be able to accurately recreate, which would make drawing her extremely difficult (and this is coming from someone who really enjoys complex designs). Also, the arrow-like marking on her shoulder kind of throws me off, as it seems random and doesn't quite fit in the with the rest of the design. I think she could benefit from some accessories if you're allowed to add them. Since she lives in Africa, maybe some tribal-inspired accessories?

How about Menhit? I don't have too much on her yet story-wise but I'm working on that! She's sort of in a poly relationship in that she has a husband that she sees in the fall and a wife that she sees during the rest of the year. She's a very gentle and benevolent being that owns a bamboo garden that she tends to. The collar probably ties her to an oppressive past but I haven't figured out yet what that means. The very light blue markings on her body can also glow, as seen here.

while i'm not exactly huge on dragon-esque characters, i absolutely LOVE this character's design. the blueish grey really goes along well with the white as well as the black freckles and paws. i love the fading color pattern on her tail and wing/fur tufts (?) of her front legs! the little flower accessory and collar are a nice touch, too, ahh. there's nothing really bad i have to say about them or anything i dislike? so overall, she's a perfect 10/10 in my opinion! an amazing design!

I don’t really have a full ref for her bc her design is so simple, but this is Matchsticks

She’s literally a walking matchstick (tho I usually don’t draw make her flame transparent so u can’t really see that normally)

She’s mischievous, curious, and playful, but also rather moody and spiteful. She loves the rain, so she often carries an umbrella with her so she can freely frolic in it (using magic I guess?)

Originally, she only had a mouth, but I gave her an eye to be more expressive

She’s one of my oldest and favorite characters and she’s super fun to doodle :3

I really the concept and from what I can see, they're adorable. Not overly simple, but still stylized and appealing. The color you chose is nice, in my opinion, much better than a bright orange or yellow. It looks grounding and compliments the character. I also love how expressive she can get with the features you gave her. However It took me a good few minutes to see that this wasn't just a headshot, I almost missed it. I thought the legs were a little suit collar. :') So I think the only thing I can find about the character to critique is that it's hard to tell she's a matchstick. I'd also like to see a little more varying of color, but that's very much up for debate because it's really just my own taste.

He's very new so he doesn't have much of a story yet, but he lives in the mountains of an old mining town, his father was a prospector and had a large stake in the company. His best friend was a demolitions expert. And that's all I've come up with/what he can remember. A part of him is still looking for his lost companions even though it's been years. I'm aiming for a very stylized and not very realistic look, because I'm not a huge fan of horror.

7/10 Personally while Wendigo ocs in my opinion are kind of a overused concept nowadays, I do like how you decided to make him a humanoid though, then just a anthro-ish deer monster with a exposed skull. Making him malnourished ties in well with the lore of the monster they are. The outfit is good as well, simple but makes sense with where he lives. I also adore the crystal things dangling off his antlers, they add a bit of flair to them.

I would like to definitely know more about him though. Was he born a Wendigo? Became one? The Wendigo is naturally a spirit, so a explanation for how he is would add more depth, then just stating he's a Wendigo with no specific explanation.
Overall, you have a pretty cool character. Just needs some more development info wise, and he'll be perfect. Of course, this is all opinion so it's not necessary to follow.

Oxdis? By Kelina1080

Oxdis is essentially a undead Therizinosaurus that was revived via the use of magic, but retaining her skull even though she can grow feathers and skin over it, mainly when around others so as to appear less frightening. She's kind of a worry wart, and most anything can send her into a panic. Regardless though, Oxdis can be relatively friendly with others, it just takes a bit of effort. She dabbles in Occult magic, and able to do things such as being able to communicate with spirits, or even traverse to the "other side". The magic does come with repercussions though, depending on how much she uses can exhaust Oxdis easily. So she tries her best to avoid using spells that require a lot of magic.

I love this gal! The concept is really neat and I’m loving the skull. She’s also so unique, it’s not everyday you see a dinosaur oc. The colours also fit together really well, and I love the marking on the shoulder. Personally I’m unsure about the rings around the body but considering the backstory they make sense so I can’t fault her! I love how she’s a worrier and that’s an interesting change from most characters you see nowadays <3

Overall a really neat character!
