Jetta has gone down hill extremely fast . I don't think she has at hay within the past couple days ( at least not much- as she was the bigger hay eater out of the two of my babies ) . She didn't eat her oat/ pellet mix at all this morning . I know because when I came by to look for Volkswagen I saw him eating from the full bowl .
I have now separated the two of them and Jetta is on a bit of a "cage arrest" so I can heavily monitor her . She is now being free fed pellets( as of this minute, she was still on a scheduled feeding even though it was upped ), as I think she is even skinnier than when I last posted . If she was bald I'm sure she would look like a skeleton . She is having bad diarrhea, I assume from the lack of hay . Her teeth look phenomenal, so it isn't that preventing her from eating . All day today she sat in a corner, didn't move . When I picked her up she was caked on her butt and smelled so bad . I gave her a butt bath- it was the only way to get her clean .
We have rent, phone bills, car insurance, and a desperately needed oil change all going on this month . We don't have the money to take her in to a vet and get full treatment to figure out what's going on . Our home and my boyfriends transportation take priority .
I don't think she'll make it to Christmas .
I feel so terrible . I want to be a good pet parent . I try so hard . I love her so much .
There are no parasites in her droppings . I don't know what's going on . I want to ask my boyfriend to get her to the vet, but the way things aligned we simply can't rn . We don't even have the extra money for a check up rn . Our vet funds all went to our cat when we had to take her in .
I can't help but sob . It's all so bad .
Please keep Jetta in your hearts/ thoughts/ prayers/ whatever you believe in .
I'm gonna do my best to save money quickly to get her help . But idk if I have time .
Sorry for the sad post ... I just, have to vent : (

I'm so sorry, i have been in your shoes a few times, my bunny Cottontail suffered the exact same thing, sadly the vets couldn't find out why he wasn't well and he died next day

but please take your little one to vet ASAP as rabbits not eating or drinking for more than 24hours is fatal. It might be something simple like to over fed her with vegetables and some vegetables like carrot have high sugar in bunnies so small amount as a treat once every week to two weeks is fine but because she having runs its really important that she must be drinking.
Goatlings I'm Greenbunny1998 on
Goatlings and
PokèFarm Q too

Rabbit facts:
Male rabbit called a buck and female rabbit called a doe
Carrots are unhealthy for rabbits
Rabbit teeth never stop growing
Female rabbit gives birth to their young after a month (pregnant for only a month)
Female rabbits will create their nest within one week before they give birth
Females will feed their young twice a day
Female rabbits after feeding their young will leave the young until next feeding
Baby rabbits will have full body of fur after one week
Baby rabbits are born with eyes closed
Baby rabbits will open their eyes within 10 - 18 days
You should never pick up a rabbit by their ears it causes them serious pain
My favourite animal is rabbits so I don't trade my bunnies. Never give up, you are all amazing. Achieve your dreams, look forward and not back and carry on being amazing.
Feel free to send me PM, trade, art customs you want me to do etc. I definitely will gladly help anyone with CS or other website i'm on and talk about animals and help with anything you would like to know about rabbits

Thank you for the comfort .
This morning my boyfriend went to go check on her and make her comfortable and watched her fall over after moving her .
He woke me up and let me know she was gone .
It sucks it rlly does .
But at least she wasn't alone, she had my boyfriend and even Volkswagen right next to the cage with them .
Rest In Peace Jetta, we love you baby .

Ancient Frost wrote:Quick question, what is a pedigree name?
In short, its the fancy name that goes on the bunnies pedigree. Kind of like their show name... my breeder left the spot open for me to fill in so now I get to name him c:
Here are some that are on my rabbits pedigrees:
Hath Christmas Flurries (Romeo's pedigree name)
Pebblebrooke
Hath Dream Maker
Aspenleaf Water Lily
Leo 9 girl on fire
Those are just a few! They are all pretty weird lol!
So I am trying to come up with Echo's c:

Basically this. Mine isn't a rabbit example but is basically the same thing. I have show dogs and their "pedigree" names are Ms. Purdita From Buffalo Road (Pudy/Purdita) and Rama Llama Ding Dong (Rama) so you can include their name in the pedigree name. you can even put their name and call it a day if you really want, but if your bunny came with a name doesn't mean you have to call it that or anything. It really is a space for you to go crazy with a wacky name you want or start a hutch name.
My rabbits always had my initials in the front then a name so for example;
"RT Baby Back Ribs" would be the name and I would call the rabbit Reba. Having my initials in the beginning would then establish me as a breeder, (which i wanted) and if the bunny was ever lost, if they looked up the numbers and chip they would also be able to find me that way.
100% up to you how you use the power though!
