Facts!

When winter falls over Ninon, many sources of food become scarce. Small animals retreat into hibernation and plants are buried by the coming snow. Many hunters take this opportunity to turn their attention to bigger quarry...
Ninon is surprisingly tame during the solstice season. They mark hunting grounds with sprigs of mistletoe, announcing their presence so other hunters know not to encroach. When two hunters meet face-to-face nonetheless, they react less violently than they would in other seasons.
Niners are somewhat willing to trade and exchange tools in this season. The normally harsh and antisocial citizens will grudgingly help each other out, as long as it doesn't inconvenience themselves or their own families.

My original song for Ninon was "Jingle Bell Mock", where families and friends would gather around to ridicule all outsiders. I scrapped it and went with the opposite theme. Instead of getting ruder, Ninon gets nicer (less murderous) during the holidays!
