Alright, I've decided to get the roleplay started!

It's a Friday, mid-morning. It's cold, and quite icy, but it hasn't snowed (yet!). Visitors should be just arriving or setting up to arrive at Pineridge and residents doing whatever they usually do!

ugh, sorry it's taken me so long to get a first post up. My computer has been acting up and all my documents on pages got deleted so everything I've written so far is gone. I'll try and get something up asap though.

derek is the hardest worker he knows. some say it's all that he cares about-and they're not wrong. he's just very passionate about what he does and isn't going to stop until he's accomplished what he wants to accomplish. aside from being a workaholic, derek can be quite the charmer. he doesn't mind careless flirting but he isn't looking for anything serious. well, for now, he isn't. derek has been said to be very protective of those he's close to-which are a select few-and would do anything to keep them safe and protected. something derek's mother had always said about him was that he was charismatic. that no matter who or what he was talking about he could engage [i]anyone[i] and get them to his level. it was odd since derek was quiet as a child. thing's change he assumed. he does enjoy talking to others but when he got passionate about his work he lost his touch and had to spend a few days getting back to his previous charismatic self. it's not like he isolates himself on purpose, it just happens. he values his work too much to stop.
