Fossil continued going deeper, before letting out a sudden faint "oof!" underwater as her head crashed against something solid, sparks flashing before her eyes as she froze up, beginning to try and recover from the sudden onslaught. When she felt something grab her, though the gem started freaking out despite her head still feeling dizzy and started thrashing and tugging, trying to make whatever was pulling her to let go since she couldn't see at all.

Tomorrow stood there pacing waiting for the two gems to come up, 'What are they doing down there it's not like they can breath underwater, right?' Tomorrow glanced at the water then started saying her worries aloud as bubbles bursted from the water.

Kunzite gasped for air as if she were dying after realizing who the figure was, "Fossil, is that you?" Kunzite said although all that came out was a bit of sound. Kunzite grabbed one of Fossil's arms after it smacked her head, "Stop it!!"

Fossil kept struggling, but immediately stopped when she heard Kunzite. The gem kicked a few times, her head finally surfacing as she yanked her arm away out of Kunzite's grip, coughing up a bit of water as she bobbed up and down, floating. "Yes, it was me, and sorry. But combined with how hard it was to see down there, and being caught off guard by something suddenly grabbing me sent me into a panic."

Sparrow headed inside and grabbed one of her favorite books about mythology and headed back outside. "One key to understanding humanity is to understand the folklore and tales that ancient people used to describe their environment."

(Tomorrow is my character I should probably go make a character sheet.)
Tomorrow ran to the edge of the water, "What are you two doing you need to get out of the water before you drown!" She held out her hand for one of the gems to grab her arm.

Kunzite swam to the edge of the pond and pulled herself out of the water, she began to wring out her hair and looked at Tomorrow concerned, "Drowwwwn?"

"You two are oblivious, how old are the two of you?" Tomorrow asked.

"I don't know how old I am but I know that I'm at least 30 years old, Fossil is way older." Kunzite explained.

Blue Quartz sat down, patiently waiting for their friend to come back. Upon hearing her come back, they were quick to stand up and wagged their tails in excitement, wondering what it was she was gonna show them. Blue Quartz listened to every word spoken to them, proceeding then to lay down, tails curled around their body.

Fossil waited till Kunzite got out of the water, before beginning to work on washing herself off in the pond, using her clawed fingers to scrub off any stubborn dirt that didn't come off when she initially went into the water.
She then casually looked over at Tomorrow. "Gems don't breath, we have no lungs." She dipped her head quickly into the water and pulled it up, straining out the excess water in her mane. "I'm honestly not sure about my age either, but it wouldn't surprise me if I am indeed older then Kunzite."

(Sorry for the late reply it's been a busy week.)
Kunzite turned to Tomorrow, "So Tomorrow tells us about humanity." Kunzite sat down in front of Tomorrow and listened.

"Well you see humanity is-" Tomorrow began to tell Kunzite and Fossil all about humanity, well everything a ten year old would now about humanity. "Anyways there's a lot more to humanity then what I told you about, I'd like to know about gems know." Tomorrow sat down and focused on Fossil and Kunzite.
