family. her half sister beth, her biological mother died during hadley's birth, and a year later her father met beth's mother kate, when he left the three of them when hadley was 18 and beth 16, kate looked after them for the next two years until she died, hadley looked after beth for the most part, but she's not exactly the easiest to look after. bit rebellious that one.
home. hadley lives on the property, but separate quarters to her sister.
personality + history. hadley was born in dublin, ireland where she lived for just under two years, when she moved with her father and her step mother kate to kate's home in australia where beth was born a few months later. they lived in new south whales for five years before moving back to dublin where kate moved her horse business and her two stud stallions and a couple of her good mares, she built up the business so much faster over in dublin then she did in australia having access to better breeding stock, her two main stallions never changed, she brought on a pure bred irish sport horse stallion and he her third main breeding stallion. by the time hadley was 9 she was competing in the pony show jumping championships which were 130cm course, having ridden since she was three, she knew her way around a horse, she hunted when she was four on her little shetland pony, jumping 70cm jumps, and by the time she was 6 she was jumping 100cm show jump courses. when hadley turned 7, she understood what a foal was, and named her first foal, prim, and so kate gave the mare a registered name with the name hadley wanted, and so hadley watched prim grow up, hoping one day to be able to ride the filly. of course that took a lot longer than planned. when hadley turned 16 she started competing 1* eventing with her irish sport horse gelding, and did her first small competition with prim, it didnt quite go so well... but hadley is very patient and kind, she's very calm and kind with her horses and never blames her horse. hadley is very bold and nothing really phases her, she gets a few nerves when she walks the cross country course and right before she goes cross country, but is very brave once she goes out there, she's a clean show jumper, and so long as she doesn't make a mistake big enough to upset her horse, she doesn't take rails, therefore she usually manages to stop her horses from knocking rails. she has now started competing prim at 1* and higher show jumping, however since her gelding passed away she hasn't had a second competition horse, which makes it difficult should prim get injured.

history. angel was hadley's first foal that she bred, hadley's step mother bred thoroughbreds and warmbloods, but angel was the first one that hadley chose the mare and stallion for and had full responsibility over it. however, angel was sold as a two year old ready to be broken in once she turned three. she got about $25,000 for angel. hadley lost contact with the new owners when they sold angel and wouldn't tell hadley where she went and they stopped replying at all. just after angel should turn 6, hadley found her at a sale, it took her a while to figure out it was angel as she had no name on her sign and simply had "5-8 year old thoroughbred x mare" at the end of the sale when the meat buyer was loading up all the left over horses, hadley noticed something small, a scar on her hind quarters, when angel was born, her mother stepped on her hip and left nasty cut that needed stitches and left a scar. thanks to hadley's inheritance, it didn't take much to buy angel from the meat buyer.
she got in contact with the man who was selling her and he didn't have much information, only that he'd rescued her from some crazy old lady who had about 70 odd horses, but she was useless to him as he was a cattle rancher and didn't need a show pony. angel was clearly neglected, she was very skinny. after three months of rehabilitation and multiple vet checks, it was found out that angel was in foal. she's now 11 months pregnant and due to drop any day now and she looks as good as new, you'd never even know she was neglected. hadley plans are uncertain with the mare but may break her in or continue her as a brood mare depending on how she goes with this foal.

history. prim was one of kate's well bred warmblood mares, and was trained by one of the best trainers and worked with him for three years, being trained and competed by said trainer to educate her. when she came back she came back with some issues, and no one could ride her, she had two years and a bit off while she was a brood mare, and when kate decided to breed her again hadley said she wanted to try to ride her. kate was uncertain about it but let her, prim bucked hadley off within the first ten minutes the first ride, the second ride the first 5 minutes, after three weeks of riding, prim bucked haldey off and hadley broke her leg and her collar bone. kate said enough was enough and wanted to put prim down as she was far to dangerous. hadley managed to convince kate to keep her as a brood mare. and 8 months later, hadley rode prim again, this time she sat in the paddock three hours until prim decided to come to her, and when she did, hadley jumped on her bareback and let the mare do as she pleased. she sat on prim for an hour as the mare wondered around the paddock grazing. when prim turned 9, hadley started to compete prim, it didn't go so well for either of them, hadley had been training prim over 1m jumps, and only competed her in a 70cm class, baby jumps for the mare and baby baby jumps for hadley who usually jumped about 135 with her gelding. prim dropped hadley at the fourth fence in the first class, and the third fence in the second class, in the third class, hadley rode prim a double clear round and placed first. that set them off for good, after her gelding retired, prim became her main ridden horse and they've been competing in 1* (115cm eventing) and 125cm show jumping events and always place in the top three, prim has become the best competition horse hadley has ever had.
