"Who are you?" Holland turned to pace towards the black-and-white Borzoi mix. His timber-colored fur seemed to blend into the scenery.

The Borzoi's spotted ear twitched slightly. "My name is Spotted." She smiled a bit. "Who are you, little one?"

“I am Snowstorm. I found Holland all alone so I thought I’d bring him to Shadowpack.” Snowstorm explained. “Why have you come to our pack? You aren’t a pack dog.” She added, staying close to Holland. “Outpackers shouldn’t be in our territory.” She stated. There was no way she would show hostility with Holland around.

She cleared her throat, the older dog looking at the other. "My name is Spotted. I was a former ThunderPack member, but I left after tragedy struck. I was thinking of joining ShadowPack, but we'll see..."

Fawnfoot, after recovering his senses, got to his paws and began his slow trek back to camp. His ears drooped as he moved sluggishly through the forest. Birds chirped and fluttered through the canopy happily. A scent he didn't recognize flowed to his nose and Fawnfoot lifted his head toward the smell. Allowing his nose to lead him, the shepherd followed the scents until he came upon three dogs chatting in a small clearing. One was Snowstorm but the other two he didn't recognize. Fawnfoot's hackles rose instinctively as he pushed into the clearing. Legs straight and head held high, Fawnfoot growled softly in his throat at the stranger. She looked like a Windpack dog but she didn't stink like Windpack. Perhaps she was a spy? Or simply an outpacker that looked remarkably like a Windpack warrior. "Who are you?" he demanded from the spotted dog. The small pup wouldn't be a threat so he spent no time, interrogating the poor little thing.

Holland jumped when the dog suddenly yelled at Spotted. "OW!" He yelped, covering his ears. "MY EARS ARE SENSITIVE!". He knew people had to speak up around him, but he hated it when they yelled.

“This is Holland. I found him outside the camp all alone. He has sensitive hearing so you have to speak up. I wouldn’t speak too loudly though.” Snowstorm said. “It’s okay Holland.” she told the pup. If she were a pup she probably would have been scared.
