Currently adding a second daily feeding of pellets to bring up her weight . Fingers crossed she packs some on 🀞🏻

Volkswagen on the other hand- is getting his daily pellets cut in half . He is getting chunky . Gonna be feeding him separately from Jetta as well from now on- to make sure she is getting weight gain and he isn't lol

Check her teeth one cause of rabbit being underweight is them have overgrown teeth but rabbits needs lots of hay but if you are given them hay and they have overgrown teeth then i know exactly what they are suffering with because sadly i have a bunny who has this problem since day they was born. One of my bunnies was born with deformed jaw its where the outline of top and bottom jaw don't fit and there's no cure so he goes to vet every month for check ups and teeth trimmings. Sorry your bunny may not have this.
Goatlings I'm Greenbunny1998 on Goatlings and PokèFarm Q too :D
Rabbit facts:
Male rabbit called a buck and female rabbit called a doe
Carrots are unhealthy for rabbits
Rabbit teeth never stop growing
Female rabbit gives birth to their young after a month (pregnant for only a month)
Female rabbits will create their nest within one week before they give birth
Females will feed their young twice a day
Female rabbits after feeding their young will leave the young until next feeding
Baby rabbits will have full body of fur after one week
Baby rabbits are born with eyes closed
Baby rabbits will open their eyes within 10 - 18 days
You should never pick up a rabbit by their ears it causes them serious pain

My favourite animal is rabbits so I don't trade my bunnies. Never give up, you are all amazing. Achieve your dreams, look forward and not back and carry on being amazing.

Feel free to send me PM, trade, art customs you want me to do etc. I definitely will gladly help anyone with CS or other website i'm on and talk about animals and help with anything you would like to know about rabbits :D Please don't be afraid to ask any questions :D.

So, I'm raising meat rabbits and since I want them to gain weight quickly. They're going to be weaned in a week. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions on how to bump up their weight. They currently eat pellets and I was reviewing their content and found they are not good pellets for meat rabbits. So, I'm looking for a new brand with more protein. This also explains why my breeders never got overweight on unlimited feed. I've heard sunflower seeds and oats but does anyone else have suggestions on getting them to grow quickly?

Echo just arrived a half hour ago! (the breeder delivers for a fee) He is so so sweet!! He even licked me, I love him so much already! I do have a question though; why is my other bunny making a weird noise when he sniffs my hands after petting Echo? Its not growling but its kind of like he has a stuffed nose or something? But only when he sniffs him through the cage or my hands after petting him... its really weird... I'm not sure if its oinking/honking or not??

That's such a cute name! I wish my breeder had delivery. He was 3 hours away.

Thanks, I really love the name Echo and it really fits him. c:
It was really nice that she delivered him! I had to drive a few hours to get my lionhead, not very fun!

Edit: Bonding isn't going great (I have not put them together yet obviously) but Romeo is marking everything! Peeing, pooping, rubbing his chin on literally everything... I really hope it stops, he was pretty much fully litter box trained before now... =(

Echo on the other hand, doesn't care at all that Romeo there lol, Echo is such a sweet bunny! I love watching him binky around the room. c:

It may be making that noise because it's a new smell! My rabbit does that whenever she smells something foreign. Also, bonding can take months sometimes, so just be diligent with cleaning your older rabbits area and use litter training techniques(such as putting a pee soaked paper towel in his box) to remind him the right place to go. He's probably upset and jealous about echo right now.

This just happens with buns, even litter trained ones. It's so annoying lol

On my bonding notes, I've been trying since October. My females are stubborn. But it's getting better with being litter trained actually! 2 of 3 buns had no problem and the third one only has very few accidents per week.

Thank you, I was worried he was being aggressive. Romeo hasn't been as bad about marking the last few hours, I hope I can retrain him completely! I was told that Echo is potty trained but the breeder just meant that he goes back to his cage to potty (not use a litter box). So I have to litter train him as well.

I am making larger cages today (Their cages are large X-pens) I am really excited! I just have to wait for my package to arrive with the other things I need to make it. Echo just has so much energy and I love seeing him binky and get the zoomies lol!

Echo was teeth clicking while I was petting him today! He loves attention (when its on his terms of course lol).

Also, I let them meet today in neutral territory and they did great! Echo seems a little skittish around Romeo but they weren't mean to each other at all and they left each other alone for the most part. I may try the stress bonding in a carrier tomorrow if I feel they are ready. I had my doubts but they get along good so far!
