Kiara wandered around, board. She was an omega and wasn't used to being bored and she didn't like it. She sighed and looked around at everyone doing their duties. She felt so left out, being the only one who didn't have any use in the pack. She hung her head low and walked over to a nearby tree to lay down.

"Nothing is stupid if you feel it is important or feel it." Amaroq answered, but ended the conversation as she appeared to wish it so. When the wind drifted into their area he saw the dove smile as her fur was twirled around. Suddenly he was hit with the scent he had just thought of, her beautiful aroma mixed with his thick smell of pine and crisp air. "I want to talk to you about the prey. I haven't scented any Red Howlers on the prey and there isn't a shortage, the prey is just... Smaller. Be it by disease, bad lineage, the weather, or the environment, everything seems slimmer. For the past few days none of the rabbits and birds I catch seem to be as plump as they used to. I've seen the occasional plump bird and caught a few large hares, but most seem so... Underweight. I saw the ribs on a rabbit yesterday, dead near a bush." He finished, his eyes like a lost sailor in her deep ocean-like eyes. Pondering what she was thinking about made him seem far off, he was barely able to finish his sentence. He needed her, either as his mate or a companion. Preferably not the latter.

Nilah listened to Amaroq as he spoke, his words reached her velvet ears and made them twitch with discomfort at the news, as the wind blew his own scent filled her nostrils of prey from a recent kill but also of the forest pine, shrubs, dew on the grass. It smelled heavenly and yet she thought aout the prey and sighed "Lessen the hunting patrols, do not hunt unless the kill pile is bare. It may just be because spring is just here, the prey is replenishing from the harsh winter storms, but if it not improve soon we will have to hunt farther out." As she flicked her white tail in dissmisal she had a second thought "Amaroq?" she said calling him back "I... I want to speak with you tonight in my den" she told him before standing and walking off to greet the patrol that was just returning.

Amaroq dipped his head in respect. "Don't worry, I will tell the hunters immediately." He answered clearly, watching her walk away. His heart seemed to pump harder as he stood there like an oaf in front of the nursery, his eyes calmly locked on her distant figure. "I'll be there." He whispered, mainly to himself. The leaf-like eyes on the brute scanned the camp, looking for any hunters that were still here, but there were none. He might as well just tell whom he could. Since Nilah was addressing the patrol he was supposed to be on, he decided to look for anyone else. He was worried about the prey, and anxious for night to come.

Rose wandered back into the camp after dragging in another deer but a smaller one and piled it upon triants stuff so it didn't look like I was spieing on him. I hated doing that but sometimes I had to,my mom was his mentor and she was a perfect mentor, I remeber meeting him in trianing with my mom, I knocked him down first but he soon got me with more tianing and became alpha male as I became a fighter, I wonder what happeend to my mom she died in battle but who killed her? I was never there to see but I try to ask but everyone says they don't know and half of them were there in battle with her! I walked aorung but soon bumped into triant. "Hello alpha" Rose said bowing her head to her alpha as she looked at him.

_Rowyn padded back to camp after marking the boarders, running into no trouble. He released the rest of the patrol and dropped the herbs off in House's den. He then spotted Amaroq, drooling over Nilah. "Amaroq," he barked sternly, "Could I talk to you for a moment, please?"

Kiara watched Amaroq and Nilah talk. She giggled at how easily it was for her to tell that he was interested in her. She smiled and stood, padding to Nilah. She wanted someone to talk to, even though she would most likely be rejected and told to go and do something else.

"I see why not. Though I have something I must tell you as well." Amaroq replied, his tone still and calm. His paws turned to face the brute where he trotted emotionlessly to the beta whom treated himself more like alpha than his true rank. As he gained ground on the male his feet kicking up dirt that had been kicked loose from so much traveling. "Well, what is it?" He asked, though he knew what it would be about. The beta was upset about how he disrespected him, but the brute had a valid reason. He showed no submission to the beta, only equality, which was how he believed wolves should be treated.
