I bet I could slow them down with Reedpaw's shoulder... he didn't badly injure it, but he's no greyhound. Carrying Smokenose back, then running to Skypack border wore him out, then he, of course, got into a fight with a fox, so he's going to most likely not walk on that particular leg. Going down that cliff is gonna be exciting! xD So maybe he'll get dragged a ways further down the river, before stopping himself?

(The pack threads are getting exciting!!! xD)

I’m still trying to catch up with what’s going on to begin with lol. I’m fine with whatever. With Moosestar gone Badgerstrike is going to step up in Thunderpack to try and help get everyone through it.

@RougueRunner I personally really like Windpack, they're just a quiet little camp. Can't believe that Windpack is a key example is what pack life is supposed to look like! Even then they have a little crazy in them.

@ Everyone I have an idea for where the direction of this sideplot with Foxpaw getting lost could go. Perhaps she sees Dappleheart injured if she is taken back to camp, makes a comment about potential treatment, and the Pack realizes that she is a medicine dog in training (plus, she is wearing a splint). Since they're so short on dogs, they might like her to join them and they're basically doing even worse than RiverPack is so she might feel torn on returning home with whatever dogs find her or staying to help out SkyPack out of a moral obligation to do so. I think it could make for some interesting conflict between the two Packs. Please share any thoughts.

Edit: Also, she could get the main conflict, with the prophecy dogs, to go a little faster by revealing to Lupinpaw that she saw him in a vision.

Oh, Roguerunner! I just noticed that in Riverpack, Wildpaw and Reedpaw would be mentored by Froststar, and Chestnutpaw and Goldenpaw would be mentored by Bearstrike. However, this was established a while ago, and now there are more warriors, so just to put that option out there, Reedpaw wouldn't have to share a mentor with Wildpaw. ^.^

Also, I think your idea with Foxpaw is really good, maybe Bramblestream and Reedpaw will find her, after a day or so, and she'll ask them to stay or something? Idk, but if Foxpaw truly meant it, perhaps the two could keep it a secret... *dun dun dun* xD

@ qerrat Oh yeah - I forgot about that! As for the whole Foxpaw scenario, I think it would all depend on who finds Bramblestream and Reedpaw; if someone doesn't want them to potentially take Foxpaw back, they could just force them away without telling her and she'd never know until the whole Pack gets involved. The secret angle could be really cool, too.

Oooh, yes! Even more tension... MORE DRAMA!!! I wonder who would do it... I doubt Quickleap would lie, as that's not exactly his personality. He could tell the lie, like, if someone else told him to, but he wouldn't on his own accord. Or... if that isn't possible, perhaps a dog who thinks Foxpaw isn't there?
