personality: hiroshi is arrogant, concieted, and incredibly condescending towards anybody that he does not deem worthy of his time or effort. taking care with his appearance, he also seems to hold clothing choice in high regard, he compliments other people sparingly outside of flirtation but when he does, it is typically on appearance rather than anything else. egotistical and particularly boastful about his position as the champion of hoenn, he doesn't hesitate to flaunt his status or his possession of the legendary rayquaza which he rarely uses in battle, only as some form of intimidation for more inexperienced trainers. despite managing to reach the rank of champion, hiroshi has never grown out of being a sore loser who is susceptible to tantrums and hissy fits if he loses a fight or underestimates an opponent and is punished for that later. he's aggressive and whiny if this happens which strongly contrasts with his usual narcissistic nature. however, whenever he wins a fight he makes sure to try and make his opponent self-conscious or rile them up by taunting them, critisising them, pointing out several faults they may not even have and by excessively referring to his skill.
with his typical personality consisting of vanity and selfishness, hiroshi can be surprisingly charming, humorous and smooth with his words, not one for being against flirting with people or making jokes at the expense of others. he's somewhat childish with his insults although often uses the excuse of people not being worthy of his genuine anger, pretending that people could never truly offend him. he's got a self-preserving nature, always putting his wellbeing before all others around him although he can feign concern if he has interest in someone, typically if they're attractive or stroke his ego. this selfish nature is part of the reason for some of his success as he has never been against dirty play or backstabbing to climb his way to the top, never letting friendships getting in the way of his personal gain.

➳personality; Fiercely competitive and even more fiercely self-obsessed, Raihan seemed to be practically made for Galar's style of challenge and tournament. The only thing that can distract him from his two goals--the first beating his fiercest rival Leon and second eventually claiming the Champion title--is updating social media with as many selfies as his poor Rotom Phone can take. He's driven to seek self improvement anywhere he can, though he has a tendency to grandstand and get caught up in the showmanship of battling enough that it can distract him; something his fans are quick to point out to him in the comments of all his selfies. He's unshakably upbeat, particularly when it comes to a good, exciting battle. It doesn't matter how long his losing streak may get, he's always working on his next strategy in hopes to make a comeback.

➳history; Raihan remembers his first gym battle and championship cup well enough that he could probably recount every detail--but it will always simply be summarized as "defeat" to him. He lost to Leon, and continued to lose to Leon, right up until he lost to Athena right before Leon did. He took over the Hammerlocke Gym and has been the reigning Gym Leader since, a position he has no interest in leaving for quite some time. He enjoys the celebrity that comes with it and continuing to at least attempt to become the Champion.

personality;; she is the ultimate hippie lady / bohemian flower child. she is completely in tune with nature, being relatively pacifistic in most settings, unless she feels someone is being threatened. she will protect nature and pokemon (wild or captive) with every ounce of passion in her.

backstory;; this young lady was raised by her grandmother; the older woman was a true forest spirit, being of Native American descent she believed that every living thing had a soul, a story, a name. she raised Persephone with this same mindset, and spent most of her childhood playing with wild Pokémon and caring for plants with her grandmother. when she was 6 years old, her grandmother introduced her to a Pokémon that she had befriended; a legendary being called celebi that had chosen to trust the old woman as an occasional companion due to her loyalty to nature. the two women live in a small cottage in a pretty forest clearing, surrounded by flowers and herbs that they grew from seeds or saplings. but lately her grandmothers health has been declining; no matter how many herbal teas she drank or how much time she spent meditating with celebi in the meadows, she still was growing frail/weak, with a cough deep in her throat. she knows that she is dying, and when she went into town recently for some books, she overheard talk of the galar competition. it was her wish that Persephone get out of her comfort zone and go compete. each Pokémon on her team had been her friend/partner for years before this; she just never had officially made them hers with a poke ball until recently. and even now she doesn’t consider them hers, per say, as she does not believe in owning another living being. they are her partners, her equals, not her slaves.

other;; it is very uncommon for any of her pokemon to be inside their pokeballs while traveling. being so in-tune with nature, persephone doesnt like "locking them up" unless she really has to.

➳personality; Seth is incredibly selfish, stubborn and prideful. She is also extremely abrasive to everyone except for her partner, Garchomp. Unlike her partner who is bursting with energy and always ready for a fight, Seth is more relaxed, albeit stand-offish. However, her short temper can quickly make her just as loud and reckless as Garchomp. While she is a genius when it comes to battles, she can be quite hopeless in many other situations. When frustrated she will usually just resort to violence as it seems to be her only strong suite.

➳history; Seth hails from the Ferrum region and is known as one of if not the best battle trainer in the world. In the Ferrum region battles would be held between Pokémon in an all out 1v1 style. Seth was a natural at the Ferrum Battle. She rose through the rankings of the Ferrum League to become the equivalent of champion of her region, Grandmaster. Soon after this achievement she traveled to other regions to challenge even stronger trainers. Seth’s pride makes her a bit rash when it comes to challenging trainers with way more Pokémon than she has. However, she does have an impressive winning streak in 1v1 battles.

okay so i have a few problems with this form. first off, i would prefer for pokemon to only have 4 moves. now i understand that in pokken they have more moves than average pokemon, but this is more so based around the mainline games so 7 moves just isn't going to be allowed and i apologize for that. the next thing is she may be considered the best in her region but that does not automatically mean she can simply 1v6 people of other regions that have been champion or all that. imo that just isn't plausible for a single pokemon. i'm sorry if that just kinda ruins what you had envisioned, but it just kinda does not fit into what this roleplay is

@broken; for lorelei i have a question about the magic she uses. what exactly is it? i mean people in pokemon don't really have magic abilities. yes there are psychics and such, but nothing like being able to use fire or anything like that so i was wondering what exactly that was about before i accepted her. i would prefer no magic if possible. i apologize if that is a problem.

as for phersephona i just wanted to point out that there really aren't native americans in the pokemon world given that americans do not exist and all that. also just a question refer to celebi since it is in her backstory what exactly happens if another trainer has it as their own pokemon? such a thing could clash with a future participant and that is why i am asking

➳personality; eira is the opposite of what most would think of her to be. most think of her to be stoic and cold whereas she actually is a well mannered woman. she may not show many emotions, but she is a caring soul who does her best to look out for others. given her strength as a trainer she is expected to be a fighter, however she views herself as more of a pacifist. she much rather come to a conclusion without the need of fighting. she feels words can solve problems and usually will do her best to solve things as peacefully as possible. this makes her a bit of a pushover and easy to forgive those who stand against her, but she does not mind. although she may be soft, she still knows how to hold her own if needed. if someone she cares for if put in danger, she will step in and protect them at all costs. in many ways she sees herself as a protector thus she wishes to use her strength to keep all safe. eira also can be a bit more on the clingy side. once she associates herself with someone she becomes loyal to them and will stick close to them unless told otherwise. with close friends, she struggles to understand what personal space is and what is and isn't acceptable to do with a friend. she can get a bit touchy and make other comfortable, but she does not mean to. it is her way of expressing that she is comfortable around said person. she also is keen on gifting others though most of her gifts are handmade or things she found laying around that she felt someone would like. she truly enjoys seeing others smile and only wants to protect those smiles to the best of her abilities. she is very much the mom type of friend; very caring and willing to listen

Caelan is about 5 foot 11, and wears this. His skin is fair, and his hair is a silvery white color that stands up like it's been electrocuted. On the right side of his face, he wears a special mask that makes his face look like it's made up of a purple sludge. He also wears a special sleeve over his right arm that does the same. These are purely aesthetic, and don't alter his body in any way. When his mask is on, his right eye becomes a blood red color, but normally, his eyes are an ocean blue.
