rowan is that one awkward guy in the back of the class,
the one who almost never says a word until the teacher
calls them out. despite his awkward silent nature, he
does have some friends, even though they often exclude
him from their group activities. he's very awkward, unless
he's talking about something he's interested in, especially
music (if you can get him to even mention it). he is very
distrustful, but unswervingly loyal once you get to know
him.

rowan grew up in a small rural town in northern indiana.
every year, his friends would go on a trip to the beach,
and it became a tradition, even when they went to college.
however, rowan quickly grew tired of it, and tried to get
out of going, but his friends always came up with a reason
for him to go. this is probably the last time rowan's going
to the beach, especially since all of his friends cancelled
on him right after he arrived.
