Lifemating is as it sounds. Becoming mates for life. For the Oddity Pride, it involves each lion exchanging a small fragment of their souls with their partners, as well as sharing magical cultivation. The sharing and exchange ensures that the partners are of similar existence. That is, partnering with an Oddity Pride lion means that one will gain limited immortality, as well as likely develop abilities similar to their partner. Though, often times, be weaker, over all, unless they are already magically inclined or cultivate their own energy. Though gaining abilities is not absolutely necessary, immortality aside.

Basic Info: Lost her family when her entire pride was wiped out, but was saved by her mother and rescued and adopted by Nero, the Founder and Leader, becoming the first, and currently only, princess of the Oddity Pride. In the stories that travel the valley and lands, she is often called "The Daughter of the Demon King," or "The Demon Princess." Even in the face of difficulties in life, she does her best to persevere. She's hardworking and spends a lot of time in training or studying. Has incredible physical strength and endurance, and is generally capable of sensing if others have bad intentions or if they are malevolent in nature. She is also capable of a version of telekinesis, where she can move and manipulate physical objects without so much as lifting a paw.

Seeking: Unsure of gender for her partner, so anything goes there. Generally... I have no idea what I am looking for for her. Just know that aspires to be similar to her adoptive mother, in that she tries very hard to do help others and do good by the world, so her partner has to accept this part about her, and probably be someone that is willing to be pretty forceful in reminding her take a break in she becomes too absorbed with a task. Though, Fallyn already knows she is loved, by both her mother, that lost her life protecting her, and by her adoptive mother, so she's not at all interested in someone that is half hearted about loving her. They need to be all in.

Basic Info: In some aspects, he may seem like he is a little standoffish toward others overall but, really, once he falls in love, he falls in love hard. He is a romantic and softy that would do anything for the love of his life, and legitimately plans to grow hundreds of peach trees in honor of his love; it's totally his romantic dream. His special abilities revolve around such things, able to command and manipulate nature, namely, growing any sort of plants or vegetation. He is, understandably, fond of nature and spending his days lazying about in the forest or gardens. Decent when it comes to politics.

Seeking: Unsure of gender for his partner, so anything goes there. Namely, someone that is loyal to him, and can put up with him even if he ends up being a cheesy romantic. And they definitely have to deal with occasionally being showered in flowers or the like and deal with him wanting to snuggle until the world ends.

The Oddity Pride and all of its members are fundamentally good in nature; it is a requirement for being accepted into the pride and their pride lands that is brimming with what is essentially divine, magical energy that can be absorbed, cultivated, by the inhabitants of the land. Thus, prides that they ally themselves with generally have to meet this same requirement. Nero, the Founder of the Oddity Pride, and a handful of other members, are able to sense dishonest or malicious intentions, thus are not easily fooled.

Fueled by Nero's desire to do all that she can to help others that need her help, they tend to involve themselves in all sorts of matters just because she likes to stick her nose into things; otherwise, though, they just do their own thing and keep to themselves. Overall, they don't believe that they require allies, as they can manage independently.

Their primary strength is just that: they are incredibly strong combatants, as each member is required to train so that they are at least capable of defending themselves from their enemies, and the majority of the members have reached limited immortality and have either incredibly physical capabilities or seemingly magical capabilities. Some members are not terrible at politics, either, and it's common that they prefer talking things out when possible and viable, but when political discussion falls through, they are capable fighters. Having them as allies generally means you have their strength on your side.

They are known for a handful of rumors that have spread across the lands and valley, the most popular being that of the Founder being known as the Demon King, a terrifyingly strong lion in combat and originally hailing from a deadly, murderous pride whom gained the title for taking the former Demon King's life and holding onto the title because she was undefeated in combat. Others may have heard stories of Makuvu, the second in command, that rose from the dead, or Zralok, the strange lion that can breathe under water.

Nero's, and other pride members', legends and stories aside, they are known for being a strange pride full of odd lions that take in just about anyone that has nowhere else to go, welcoming them with open arms, wings, or paws.

The Oddity Pride and all of its members are fundamentally good in nature; it is a requirement for being accepted into the pride and their pride lands that is brimming with what is essentially divine, magical energy that can be absorbed, cultivated, by the inhabitants of the land. Thus, prides that they ally themselves with generally have to meet this same requirement. But not everyone meets this requirement, nor does everyone desire to be allies, even if they do.

Thus, the purpose of a non-aggression treaty. As long as a pride does not harm the Oddity Pride, their pride lands, or their allys, the treaty will stand. The Oddity Pride, and those in a non-aggression treaty with them, behave as such. They do not harm one unless they are given reason to. In which case, the treaty is revoked. They do not actively help or harm one another, but simply pass one another by.
