Only in the last hour I got him to sleep and I had only 1 hour sleep and I cant think stright. I understand is very hard for a new puppy to pine for is mother and in this case his dad. I cryed so much and the stress so so silly. However I love him and hopefully I see him more relaxed and more happy.

I am keeping a friend's puppy while she is out of town for a week. He is ten weeks old, not potty trained, not crate trained. I am currently waiting for him to fall back asleep in his crate. I luckily only have to get up once at 4 am with him.
How are you teaching your puppy to go outside? Bells, go to door, etc.? I find that the bells work the best. The puppy I am watching picked up on it within a few days. As for sleeping, does your pup sleep with you in your bed or does he sleep in a crate next to you?

Guess it’s time to let the cat out of the bag! I added four more paws to the pack last week! Arizona is a 7 month old Great Dane who will be taking O’s place as my SDiT. We are also going to try all the sports, and she’s super nice so she will be shown in confo as well! We have our first confo show this weekend and I’m very excited! Bones will also be showing provided he doesn’t look like a deer lol

Very cute middy! ^^
Does anyone have any hiking pack recommendations? I'm trying to get more into hiking with Kahlua and would love some input. I also completely forgot to post our Halloween photos so I may if anyone's interested.

^ By all means, share those photos.
Sorry I don't have any pack recommendations. I could link some sites, but don't have any hands on experience myself.

for someone whose entire life revolves around dogs i really dont post here often enough. a formal introduction, my name is Lance, i am a veterinary student and certified vet assistant, and dogs are pretty much the only thing i care about. i currently own a 2 yo speckled street mutt named
Lucky, and I also live with my parents' dog, a 3yo husky/akita mix named Leia.
I am currently on the waiting list for a confo prospect borzoi puppy, which has been my lifelong dream, so i am very very excited for that ;;
Lucky and I actively work our way through understanding eachother and handling his (many) fears and anxieties. Its my first time owning a street dog with so many issues, so he has been a challenge to even bond with. But we are currently doing fine, we worked through his fear of cars and loud noises, he is still extremely wary of humans and hates crowds. Still, he's a good boy <3
