What do you guys think the future holds for the Voltron franchise? Do you think Dreamworks will try to do something else with it or just leave it alone since season 8 wasn't received as well as they would've liked?

I remember hearing rumors about there being a live action movie a while back. I decided to google it for any updates and the best I came up with was this. The article is about a live action series that would have happened if not for VLD, but it does acknowledge that a live action movie was and maybe still is a possibility. Through that article I also found this one which ties in with the topic here. Personally I really like the idea of voltron continuing on through either a novel or comic series and filling in gaps that the show didn't spend too much time on. In the article it treats the fact that Lauren and JDS won't be working on it-if it happens, that is-as a bad thing. I'd definitely have to disagree there. Them being out would mean a new team, and a new team could be a really good thing seeing as how the series' writing really took a hit towards the end.

Yeah tbh I really don't want those two working on anymore Voltron related things. I would love love LOVE them to continue the show through a comic series or something similar, there are so many questions they left unanswered in the show and I think it would be cool to see more stuff on Voltron. I think it would also be cool if they had a comic series for the original paladins such as Alfor and Zarkon lol
