It's more of good timing photo. I only bred bunnies once and i would love to do it again. Butterfly (bunny i bred) when he was younger he was a wriggly worm, he kept trying to wind his mum up, sadly his mum not longer with me and his dad is very ill and keeping very close eye on him and if he doesn't improve he going to vet. Butterfly is so sweet and even though he's an adult i think he still believes he's a baby (i treat all my animals like babies, so cute) sadly i'm on my computer so i sadly can't post any pictures of him at the moment. Brownie and Thumper (Butterfly's parents) had two babies, one sadly didn't make it :( and i've owned bunnies most of my life, my first bunny cottontail I owned when i was approximately 7 or 8 but she not longer with us, my second bunny is also named Cottontail and he has helped me through school, college etc but he past away in 2017 :(.

Owning an animal or owning animals are amazing and every animal is unique.
Goatlings I'm Greenbunny1998 on Goatlings and PokèFarm Q too :D
Rabbit facts:
Male rabbit called a buck and female rabbit called a doe
Carrots are unhealthy for rabbits
Rabbit teeth never stop growing
Female rabbit gives birth to their young after a month (pregnant for only a month)
Female rabbits will create their nest within one week before they give birth
Females will feed their young twice a day
Female rabbits after feeding their young will leave the young until next feeding
Baby rabbits will have full body of fur after one week
Baby rabbits are born with eyes closed
Baby rabbits will open their eyes within 10 - 18 days
You should never pick up a rabbit by their ears it causes them serious pain

My favourite animal is rabbits so I don't trade my bunnies. Never give up, you are all amazing. Achieve your dreams, look forward and not back and carry on being amazing.

Feel free to send me PM, trade, art customs you want me to do etc. I definitely will gladly help anyone with CS or other website i'm on and talk about animals and help with anything you would like to know about rabbits :D Please don't be afraid to ask any questions :D.

When I went to check on my rabbits today, all five of my kits were out of the nest box. They couldn't get back in so they were huddled in the corner and it was sooo cute!

How old are they?

When their eyes are open, you need to remove the nest to avoid eye infection, butterfly was the same he never wanted to be in the nest. The eyes open bwteen 10 to 20 days roughly all bunnies are different.

They are 11 days old. 4 have their eyes open but one is still closed. I haven't read anything that says it needs to be taken out right away. It's also cold where I am so I want them to have some shelter.

hi there!!

thought i'd pop in because i love to gush about my bun

i have a year and a half old dutch bunny named ziggy stardust and the bunnies form mars (all of his siblings have long elaborate names), but we call him ziggy

he's litter box trained and we're currently working on training him so he can be out of his cage 24/7. currently, he stays in his cage when i'm at school or if i need to clean and i can't have him in my way. his cage is two stories, so don't worry, he's not in some tiny hamster cage.

ziggy is small for a dutch bunny because he's an incest baby, but i love him to bits. he's an absolute demon, but he's cute so i can't complain

I don't take the nest out until they are all hopping out and don't sleep in it anymore. Not at 10-20 days old, that's just mean.

Revive as much fur as you can and maybe get something warm like a blanket when the fifth one eyes open but it's mainly the hay the pointy bits of hay when they are moving around could get in their eyes can cause eye infection but if you want to keep nest for little bit longer i recommend keeping very close eye on them. I understand i was extremely worried when i removed my ones nest and it was little bit cold as it was in July last year. I gathered as much fur as i could so he could get warm but he never used it and he went to his mum and my baby girl (his mum) would let him snuggle up with her. The nest box should be removed at 2 weeks of age if hot weather to avoid infections and 18 of age if cold weather. As they've already left the nest that means they are ready to explore and find their mummy and learn to hop by themselves. Please don't leave the nest for more than 18 days of age.

Thank you

I have been keeping an eye on then. I check them every day. I'll probably take it out when they can also get back in.

I am considering adopting another male rabbit... either a nether land dwarf or a hotot rabbit.
Any tips for bonding? I've never had two pet rabbits, only my breeding pair, so I'm not sure how to make them close enough to stay in the same pen... any tips would be very helpful! (yes, I know they must both be neutered)
