Opalpaw - Shore Clan Camp - Tags: Ripplestar, Mudfoot
Opalpaw slowed as she approached the clearing. She’d caught Mudfoots scent a little while back and knew her mentor was talking with the leader. About time he’d shown up, it had felt odd starting without him, like she’d left something important behind. In a way she sort of was, if she became a full warrior he wouldn’t be her mentor anymore. The realisation chilled rather than excited her, she hadn’t thought about that. Mudfoot had been there throughout all of her training and she’d become used to being able to rely on him to be there for her. After Shaleheart left knowing that, as mentor, Mudfoot was honor bound to spend time with and train her had served as a place of stability. If she became was warrior was that just it? What if she turned out to be a really bad warrior or ran into a new problem, would she had to figure it out on her own? No, Opalpaw swallowed her doubts best she could, if Mudfoot and Ripplestar didn’t think she was ready then she wouldn’t be here. Walking into the clearing Opalpaw walked towards Ripplestar and placed the chipmunk down near him. “First one down!” She purred. The apprentice sniffed the air and turned in Mudfoot’s direction, pretending to just be noticing him now. “Oh! Mudfoot! I didn’t see you there!” she purred, here whiskers twitching with amusement at her own joke.
Redfur - loner - forest - Tags: Fernsnap
Redfur winsed as his face was pushed into the ground, he couldn't get a good breath in without coughing up dirt but it was better than the alternative of having his front leg almost ripped off. For a second he tensed, eyes darting around bright and fearful for any openings he could use to escape, then, with a sigh, slumped back down again, the adrenaline slowly leaving him feeling cold and tired. There'd be no running away with an injured limb, she’d did it, she’d won. Redfur closed his eyes, not answering right away as he accepted the situation. When he looked up at her he met those feice eyes with a look that was cold and seething. “Is there really a right answer to that?” He weezed, an edge of accusation to his voice. “I’m an outsider. what more than that do you need to know?” He glared up at the she cat. Now that he wasn’t fighting for his life he could actually get a good look at her, well, not a very good look, half his face was still being pressed into the ground. Still, she was younger looking than he’d expected. For a cat living in the woods she looked healthy and even her fur looked clean and shining.
