As the groups stepped off the train and Atlanta bid Team Omega farewell, the fire wielder grouped with the rest of Team Alpha & Beta. While it would take a large amount of strength to keep herself from lashing out at the crown prince right then and there, she wanted to be one of the first people to face him. To stare directly into those snakelike eyes she would never trust. Jennifer was incredibly aware she would have to be extremely careful using her fire but it made for a strong intimidation method. Right along with her bow. When she heard Arys, she nodded. A smile was still so foreign to her, and therefore the feature that was never seen gracing her lips. Oftentimes people got the wrong idea when she didn't return the friendly gesture, even if it really was nothing personal. "Yes, and I'm glad to hear we'll be working together," Jen commented, the conversation ending there as she redirected her attention towards Quinn. Jen had the map down and listened as people exchanged ideas. Including the fact that the map was... somewhat useless. Being a huntress she strived in this area, after all, it was you and your intelligence out there. At least they had bothered to provide something. As they started into the woods, despite Rose being planted close by Gav's side, she went ahead and approached him. "How are you doing?" She inquired gently, staring down at him momentarily before redirecting her attention to where she was walking.

The commander smiled at Keelan-Rose's newfound conviction. Although the girl's voice was still quiet, she seemed to have an idea of what to do now. And she was heading towards Rose, a particularly trustworthy and dependable teammate, so the outlook for her was pretty hopeful.
Quinn seemed to be gaining confidence, taking the lead. Atlanta approved of this too. "Ready if you are. Feel free to lead the way," she told him with an encouraging grin, then held out the rolled-up forest map in her hands. "Did you or someone else want the map, too?"
Robin was making plans already. Excellent! "All good ideas, Robin. You could say a codeword into your communicator," Atlanta suggested, tapping the small black device clipped to her own chest. "That way we can know when you're ready."

Gavotte chuckled as Onyx declared they would arrest the prince. For that particular job, he trusted the dark-haired acrobat more than he trusted himself. Onyx was nimble, clever, and calm under pressure. All traits that would come in handy for Team Beta.
He snapped out of his thoughts when Brenn came over to compliment him. Gav smiled a little timidly, flattered that so many people were acknowledging his idea. "Thank you, Brenn... I like your ideas too. Maybe I could surround the Prince's feet in water, and you can freeze it?"
Rose had come to stand by Gavotte's side, and he offered her a smile. The water-manipulator had noticed her apparent interest in their commander. Being a little naive to these matters, he assumed Rose just had a question she wanted to ask.
Quinn appeared to be taking a leadership position, which Gav was totally comfortable with. "Sounds good, boss," he half-joked and gave the telekinetic a smile of approval.
The group appeared to be moving on. As they started through the forest, Gav noticed a certain tall blonde was approaching. She positioned herself by his other side and asked how he was, a much-appreciated gesture of kindness from the otherwise quiet and brooding fire-wielder. "Better than ever," He murmured, smiling as he glanced towards the forest floor in an attempt to hide his reddening cheeks.
It took some time, but Gavotte was able to muster the strength to make eye contact. He looked up into her sky-blue eyes, which others might describe as icily intimidating - but he saw them as full of hope. They were the eyes of his savior.
"By the way, thank you for saving my life," He told her. Their previous mission had been a close call - with a shiver, Gavotte recalled the coldness of the blade against his throat. Jen's quick thinking and courageous decisiveness had spared him a grisly fate. "I don't know how to thank you enough. Just know... you're my hero."

At Cassiopeia's words, Ardai shivered as icy chills ran down his neck. She spoke of the enraged spirits of the dead. How could this place get any more horrifying?
"Uhm... I sure hope they're not mad at us," Ardai said with a nervous smile. He was tense, and didn't realize until Albin placed a hand on his shoulder, leading him to relax a little. "Thanks man..."
The prankster was a little confused at Caleb's words until he realized what the dark-haired summoner was doing. Explaining their surroundings to Cassiopeia, who couldn't exactly see them. Ardai's respect for his teammates continued to grow.
Caleb proposed a plan which Ardai was hyped about. They could have a picnic! "Oooh, I heard their parks are real nice. You wanna split up? Some of us could look for a park, and the others could get food."
Really, Ardai just wanted an excuse to run off in the park. Fivana hadn't given him the chance to achieve his dream of running free like some insane squirrel on coffee grounds.

Arys isn't offended by Jen's curt response and immediate drift to Gavotte. She understands the dynamic between them, even if she's never been in a situation like that. The girl is still lost in thought when a something lands lightly on her shoulder, and she jumps a little at its touch. She cranes her neck to find that it's a sparrow. Knowing full well that the sparrow didn't just randomly land on her shoulder, she glances over at Caleb and team Omega. I wish I could go with them. A few moments later, the sparrow flies away, and Arys realises that it's probably Caleb's eyes on the other teams. A smile grows across her face as she realises that they won't be completely alone in the woods, they'll have some contact with the outside world. When Calypso pipes up, her smile widens. "Hey, you're right!" She grins at the fae, "That'd actually be pretty funny, to see his reaction as I transform right in front of his eyes. I better find a stick in the woods!"
As she follows Atlanta and her other team members into the woods, her mind drifts to what she'd do when they encountered Alistair. Sure, she'd probably transform into a giant wolf to scare him, but it's unlikely she'd do anything else unless he threatened her team. Unfortunately, she can't say the same for her team. She knows a lot of them harbour a strong hatred for the Brungard family, and while she hates the emperor as much as the next person, she just doesn't feel that way about his son. I just can't make any judgements until I meet him in person, she sighs, Though the first time will be me jumping in his face, and the second, if there is a second, will probably be with him behind bars. Generally, imprisoning someone isn't the best way to figure out whether or not they're as evil as some think they are. And there's still the topic of her friends. They all don't feel the same way she does, she knows that for a fact. So is she going to have to hold people back from hurting the prince too seriously? What if he's accidentally killed? She shudders at the thought of someone being killed because of her. Becuase if anyone did die, she'd blame herself. Whether it's a friend or the prince, it would be her fault because she didn't protect them as much as she should have. The girl lets out another quiet sigh. No, I can't think like that. Just focus on the people near you. Everything is going to be fine.

Robin walked silently with the rest of the team, toying with a strand of her hair. When Gavotte began to speak with Jen, Robin couldn't help but pick up on some of what he'd said,and felt a brief flash of old anger flare inside of her heart. Still, though, she kept a surprisingly calm expression for the silent hatred for the target of the previous mission. If I could do something besides turn into a glorified pipe cleaner, I sure would've liked to have ripped him to shreds for threatening Gavotte. Robin couldn't even begin to imagine what she would've done if Gavotte, by far one of her closest friends, had been killed by that walking pile of polluted scum. I'm just glad he's okay, though.

The recollection of the fact that Gavotte nearly died sent a rippling heat through Jen. Filled with rage & terror at the prospect of him being gone... forever. "I'll always protect you, Gav." Jen took his hand and squeezed it reassuringly, letting go after that. "And hero..? Wow, thank you." She added, not sure how to react. "Have you gotten anything thus far?" Jennifer inquired while still keeping pace with everyone else. She'd been mindful to look around for any of the given landmarks as well as paying attention to the footing. Had it softened, that was a telltale sign a body of water - or rather, hopefully, a waterfall - was nearby. It was a basic survival skill and useful nonetheless. As a breeze passed through, she looked down to ensure Gavotte wasn't shivering. She could easily warm him up had that been the case.

After the train ride, in which she passed the time by either looking out the window or chatting with others, she got out and worked her way towards the mixture of team Beta and Alpha. Alpha was where she'd settled as a dragon attempting an ambush would... not go over very well. Frightening the prince was easily her best move. She harbored a horrible, unforgiving loathing towards his father, but couldn't say the same for him. After all, none of them truly knew where his loyalties lay. Demetria wasn't the type to be so quick to judge either. She wouldn't be stupid about it either, of course, and assume he was harmless. Though she was also going to ensure he made it back without a knife through his heart. When the group all departed from the train station, Demetria kept to herself for some time, acknowledging that most were busy in their conversations. That is until she found a spot beside her older sister. "Hello," she greeted with a smile.

Quinn grinned wildly at Atlanta when he spotted that she seemed to approve of his actions again, this whole taking charge thing was working in his favor. He hadn't gotten this much approval in a long time and it was doing wonders for his non existent ego. Reaching out he took the map out of Atlanta's hand and waved it slightly with a cocky grin before stuffing it in his back pocket. "Alright lets roll out guys!" he chirped and started forward. His stride was long and confident, while it wasn't a super model walk it still was a strong and showed he meant business. At the sound of Gavotte calling him boss he turned slightly and sent the water bender a huge grin. He wasn't used to being the leader but nobody had really stood up to be one so he had taken on the torch. "Boss aye? I like the sound of it" he joked. He didn't exactly want to be called boss in the future but for now it was okay. Glancing around he made sure to do a head count one more time before continuing forward. He didn't exactly want to leave anyone behind. That being said he was a bit disappointed that there wasn't anyone who wanted to walk with him, it seemed everyone had split off into their own sub groups. With a small shake of his head he forced himself to move past the fact that he didn't really have a friend to walk with at the moment. Gavotte was busy walking with Jennifer and Onyx was distracted by someone else. They were the only two people he was friend with not that he wasn't interested in being friends with other people he just didn't really want to impose upon them. Especially when they already seemed to engrossed in something else. Focusing on the path in front of them he hoped that Gav would be able to sense the waterfall soon. The sooner they got to the waterfall the sooner they could capture the prince and the sooner he could be back with his best friend.

During the train ride he had taken the time to himself, keeping rather silent and effectively watching how everyone else was handling things for the time being. Something rather similar was done as they grouped up as well, though he gravitated towards Team Alpha in order to properly take advantage of the opportunity to assist medically to those who needed immediate assistance in that matter. After all, being on the front lines was a dangerous task.

Having been standing with the rest of the group, he stood to the side and simply listened in, making sure that he wouldn't happen to miss any important instructions that would be needed later. However he perked up a little bit upon hearing Quinn give the que to officially hit the road and get moving. Taking a final glance around towards his surroundings, he followed along, going with the current flow of things.

Rose spotted the other girl coming over from talking to Atlanta and turned her focus to her, she heard her speak“Right, “ Rose spoke up lightly she could tell the girl was nervous. “I’m on beta too. “ Rose smiled warmly. “You can stick with me if you want.” She glanced back at Gav, with the two of them close by hopefully Keelan would feel a little better. Rose started walk with the group. Lucy felt the bird and nodded knowing who had sent it.

A gentle breeze brushed a tendril of dark hair over her shoulders, directing it to fall down her back instead. Being the traditional Thrintian he was, her father would have approved of the loose hair, but not the formal apparel of Oneta. Thankfully, he wasn’t here to comment on it. Team Omega had been her choice. Admittedly, she wasn’t the most intimidating of the group and with Team Alpha’s role banking on that particular element, that choice was off the tables. Waiting around to cuff the Prince Alastair would only serve to set her on-edge and there were others far more qualified - at least that was what she’d like to think.

The elegance of the Onetian province was not lost on her. The intricate beauty accentuated with various greenery took her breath away. White, marble buildings and pristine streets met-up to the standard she’d formed internally of Oneta. The silence, however, she didn’t notice until pointed out by Ardai. Unsettling, yes, but not overwhelmingly so. For awhile, the others seemed on edge by the spirits that Cassiopeia had mentioned, before they turned to the next topic. Exploring the convenience areas, along with a stroll in the parks.

“If we split-up, we'll cover more ground. Maybe attract less attention,” she murmured, twiddling with the hem of her skirt. Was that something too obvious to say? They were a large group of seven or more young adults - would they appear too suspicious walking around as they did? She redirected her soft-blue gaze towards the team, fingers stilling as she surveyed their faces, waiting for a general consensus to be made. “Staying together may be safer, though.”

Keelan smiled at the girl's response. "Thanks, I might take you up on that. I'm going to go meet some more of our team first, though." She starts walking away, backward, and waves good-bye to her. She bumps into another person on her team, but apologizes and scurries away before seeing who it was. Keelan-Rose's eyes flick around to everyone on her team. Everyone looks interesting, the person she had noticed earlier talking to a woman with a dark cat. They seem cool, so, cautiously, she approaches them. She tucks a loose strand of wavy brown hair behind her ear and moves toward them. She recognizes the black-haired person as Onyx, someone Keels had seen around headquarters before this mission. They hadn't spoken much, only to share a greeting here and there, but Keelan had noticed them talking to others, and they seem like a nice person. She approaches them, calmer now that she knows who they are, and smiles in greeting. "Hi, am I interrupting anything?" she murmurs, her voice soft. Keelan figures she should introduce herself. She extends her hand. "Sorry, I suppose I should introduce myself, in case you haven't seen me around headquarters. Keelan-Rose Major," she says. Honestly, there's a good chance that they haven't, considering she mainly stays to herself.
