Hello and welcome to my vale, a sanctuary for my pets. My name is Vanyel and I am the caretaker of this vale. Enjoy looking around and giving these critters some attention. Some groups and herds are rather normal and some a bit strange. It's always interesting to see what new creature will come along to enjoy the comforts of the vale.

Any pets posted here are not for trade, please do not ask.

Special Pets


These were my first big dream pets. I love the mechanical pets! One of the first people here on CS to start talking to me and befriending me is Missy ♥'s Count D. She gifted these awesome canines to me. These dogs keep watch over all my pets and keep them safe. =)

First Gifted Pet
This is the first pet ever donated to me here in CS. It was given to me by the awesome user pedex. I really loved the look of this dog and named it as soon as I received it. Her name is Celestia.

First Contest Pet
I entered a writing contest to win a free store pet and won! It was first time making a story for a pet and I really enjoyed doing it. Here is Gevena the rabbit and the story I wrote for her.


Pet's name: Gevena

Far into the future, many years from now when you and I have become dust the world moved on, changed and cold. The trees and plants all dies, rivers and lakes dried up, and worst of all the animals died. Due to luck, tenacity or pure desire to survive the humans somehow remained in a world that was nothing but sadness. Now here is where are story truly begins with a small girl named Maya and her brother Nexus .

Maybe and Nexus were the world to each other since they had no one else. Though this was not uncommon since the human life span had drastically shortened. These two however were the bottom of the bottom. Little food, polluted water and they lived in the filthiest area. They had scant but rags to wear. They were happy, well has happy as two desolate children could be.

Nexus always a loving brother, had been collecting spare bits of things in order to make a toy for his sister. He was doing quite well and had even got some of it put together. A few months ago they had come across an old book, a rare treasure, and it had a picture of a bunny. Ever since then Maya had talked non stop of rabbits and Nexus was trying to construct one for her. He had to say that we was pretty good at getting the shape right and even making it so the limbs could kind of move. It was nothing fancy but he was sure his sister would love it.

Time passes as usual for the pair but once Nexus was pleased enough with his work he presented the toy rabbit to his little sister. She squealed with joy at the simple construct and held it tight. The rabbit had been a success. Maya was beyond happy with the gift and Nexus was happy that he could still make his sister smile.

Though sadly this world was not kind. It did not take long before an cruel selfish person tried to steal the toy. Nexus did his best and managed to fight the thief off but the end result was still not good. The poor rusted metal rabbit lay in the dirt broken beyond repair. Maya was clinging to her brother with tears in her small blue eyes.

It was then that an old man, which was strange because not many lived long, came out of the shadows. Though he looked suspicious he had a an almost fatherly smile. He bent over with a creak and crack till he had his wrinkled hand on the remains of the rabbit. A soft gold light glowed over the rabbit for what seemed to the children like an eternity. Never had they seen such wonders. The man took his hand away, gave one last smile and left as suddenly as he had come.

The children looked back to the rabbit to see it not only repaired but moving on its own. Somehow the mysterious old man had not only fixed it but had somehow given it life. In the years that followed the rabbit Gevena helped the children not only to live but to live in health, peace and happiness. Gevena always seemed to know where food could be found, clean water and safe places to sleep. Gevena loved them with her small mechanical heart just as much as Maya and Nexus loved her. And if Gevena could have talked she would have told you that she had been alive long before the old man gave her life. The moment Nexus began shaping her with his hands and the very first time Maya held her Gevena's spirit was already there silently sending love to them. The old man had simply given her the gift of being able to show her love to them.

Though the world may die and hopes be lost there will always be a spark a magic left behind if only you look for it.

Gifters
I wanted to give a big thank you to anyone and everyone who ever will and who ever has donated me pets. I have received gifts from both friends and random strangers alike. I have gotten many free creatures from people who have decided to quit playing CS or are just doing some spring cleaning and share the pets they have. Many people run adoption centers and make sure pets find good homes. There have been people who run games or contests and from their own pets have awarded or given various critters. Can not forget the CS Pound which re-homes creatures. So thank you everyone on CS who is kind and helps the rest of us get pets we do not yet have and/or pets we have always been dreaming of. I know without the generosity of many people here on CS I would not have the awesome animals I do have. Thank you all. <3

Traders
Also would like to thank everyone who do fair trades and do not scam others. I have not done a lot of trading but I remember when I first signed up. I had been donated some rather rare and special creatures and had been hit by a lot of trades from various people trying to con me out of those gifts simply because I was new. Luckily, I had already decided to not trade my gifts so I did not lose them. So I know how bad and unfair trades can be. It is always nice when someone offers an honest trade. Thank you all who sent fair trades and take the time to make sure they are as balanced as possible. You make life easier and much more pleasant. =)

Friends & Confidants
A special thanks to all my friends here on CS for putting up with me, for all the gifts, fun and support. I don't know many people here so you all know who you are. You guys make things here interesting and entertaining. =P

There is a special person, who will remain unnamed, who has helped me a great deal with my personal real life problems. A confidant that has given me hope and showed me a path I didn't even know was there. Thank you for listening, for all the advise, kindness and helpful links you have given me.

These animals gather together to make sure every important event is celebrated and celebrated well. They make sure not to miss birthdays, anniversaries and every other event they can find (I'm sure they even make some up, lol). If something to celebrate is coming up they will make sure to stock up on balloons, party favors, and lots of goodies. These animals know how to party and do their best to make sure everyone else has a good time as well.

Pet's name: Lady Sasha

Lady Sasha is a courtesan who runs her own gentleman's club and who takes care of her girls. She loves fine things and exquisite clothing. She has no problem accepting gifts and trinkets from her customers. Lady Sasha is a qualified spell weaver and excels at enchantments and suggestion spells. She hides her staff in plain sight as just another decoration added to her lovely ensemble.

Pet's name: Spirit of the Mandarin Tree

The spirit of the mandarin tree has been here for many many seasons. It knows it is an old being but is not weary. It takes joy from all the life around it.The tree makes the leaves sing a song of tranquility as the breeze dances along. It can feel the warmth of the sun and the strength of the earth. It is at peace in the vale and offers this same balance of energy to all who partake of its fruit.

Pet's name: Doctor Radiation

These two crazy coots spend all their time in the mad science lab. Odd sounds and weird smells come from their laboratory. Most people stay far away from the laboratory and steer clear from the eccentric duo.

Professor Thavius use to be a normal collage science professor before he volunteered for some secret government experiment. When he returned he was a changed man and would sometimes rant about strange, taboo or simply silly theories. No one knows if he has succeeded in any of his scientific discoveries and most people hope he never does. Though it is rumored that the creature that stalks the northern woods was one of his failed experiments.

Doctor Radiation is a quite and easy going guy. He refuses though to speak of his past or say what his original name was. Though few actually know his true history it is said that some sort of betrayal happened at a past science lab and he was pushed into a vat of radioactive material. Supposedly since then he is able transform into a monster and has unique abilities.

The two met at a science convention, which they both were kicked out of. In the alley Professor Thavius began fuming about the other scientists stupidity. During this rant he spouted off one of his chemical equations and how none of them would ever understand. Oddly enough Doctor Radiation did. Professor Thavius grudgingly let him come to his lab and soon they became scientific parters.

Mad Professor Thavius is quite serious and quick tempered but Doctor Radiation's light personality helps get the good professor back on track. Who knows what mysteries these two will come up with in the future.
