Here's a RECAP of what the Phoenix Squad has experienced so far!
(This stuff will be posted, with all other information, on the lore thread.)


Previous events

Marking Day: The Phoenix Squad received scars on their foreheads that match the generic Delran scar. This way, they can go out into Delra without being immediately arrested.
The Marking Day ceremony was a huge deal. The entire rebellion gathered to watch them, and the Council ran the ceremony. Atlanta, who'd trained alongside them for years, was chosen as their commander.

Mission Prep: Right after Marking Day, the squad prepared for their first mission. Four traitors were running loose in Fivana! These traitors planned to sell maps leading to Headquarters.
As disguises, the Phoenix Squad donned ridiculously gaudy outfits such as huge feather hats, hoop skirts, platform heels, and frilly petticoats. They also received new weapons made specifically for them!

Fivana Fiasco: The colorfully-dressed squad journeyed to the District of Gold, where they split into four teams (everyone chose their own destination). Each team went after a specific traitor - all of whom ended up having powers similar to their own. Fortunately, the teams received pairs of handcuffs that had power-cancelling properties.

Team Corazon: Ardai, Naevys, Leon, Quinn, Albin, Roselle
Team Midas: Caleb, Brenn, Micheal, Aurora, Fletcher
Team Knifepoint: Onyx, Cujo, Scorch, Cassiopeia, Thalia
Team Sanctuary: Jen, Gavotte, Arys, Rose, Robin, Calypso, Theodora, Keelan, Freyja

And here are the descriptions of what went down (all traitors were arrested alive):

Corazon Street: VS Leroy. His power was to hypnotize others with his beauty. The victims would be frozen, helpless to do anything except stare at him.
Team Corazon encountered their target at the parade. Ardai (being the tallest) noticed him first. Ardai was immediately frozen and unable to move. Fortunately, the other members of Team Corazon discovered how to resist his power. With enough determination, you could prevent the hypnosis through sheer force of will. They helped Ardai snap out of it too.
The rebels were able to surround Leroy and cut him off from the parade. Because Leroy had hypnotized the Fivanian crowd, nobody stopped them as they marched away with their arrested captive.

Midas Tower: VS James. He had the ability to sense others with powers (and know everything about those powers), so he anticipated them coming. He took the elevator to the penthouse. Team Midas followed in the very next elevator, but when the doors opened, James attacked. He threw a knife at Caleb and stabbed him in the throat.
However, Caleb used his beast-summoning powers to summon a new body for himself. His old body died, but he lived on in the new. Leaving Caleb's old body on the floor, the reunited Team Midas chased and restrained him.
The elevator opened again and a janitor stepped out. Team Midas was horrified... until the janitor revealed himself as a fellow rebel who'd cleaned up Caleb's old body. The rebel, Finnegan, provided them with a garbage bin to hide James in. They were able to sneak him out of Midas Tower.

Knifepoint Alley: VS Keith. Like a visual ventriloquist, had the power to alter his true appearance and/or "project" a false illusion of himself. Team Knifepoint ventured down the most dangerous alley of Fivana, where they encountered first an innocent alley cat sitting on a ledge, then a well-decorated and suspicious door. They knocked and the door swung open... revealing at first nothing, but then three Keiths that invited them in. The house inside was dusty and decrepit.
The three Keiths combined into one. Illusion-Keith sat down for a discussion with Team Knifepoint, hoping to talk them down. He spoke of feeling hopeless and wanting to escape, and this treasonous plan being the only hope.
Meanwhile, the alley cat from earlier was sneaking along the wall. It made a run for it - but Team Knifepoint captured it. The cat shifted back to Keith's true form, and made no further efforts to resist.

The Sanctuary: VS Drew. He had the power to take others' abilities and wield them.
Due to the size of the Sanctuary, the group split up. Gavotte found this traitor first, and he was promptly held hostage, his powers drained from him.
Fortunately, the rest of Team Sanctuary arrived in short order. Jennifer shot the traitor in the hand, making him release his hostage (thus saving Gavotte's life). She fought Drew together with the others of Team Sanctuary. Although the traitor used Gavotte's water powers to manipulate the nearby lake, he was ultimately overpowered by Team Sanctuary.
Although some considered killing him, they decided to spare his life. They knocked him out and handcuffed him.
