Each with their own instrument mastered to perfection, able to transform into
a weapon, perfect for a quick murder. Specialized roles for each of them.
Whether it be taking care of the diry work or assassinating the targets, their jobs
are important to the entire team. Though something is wrong. The government
has been too quiet and their jobs have been compromised over and over again.
Only the conductor knows the master plan, and they've been disappearing for days
at a time, leaving they're child to conduct for the band. Something is wrong and
they've got to figure it out before it's too late.

Basically, there's a group of 12 people who are part of an "instrument mafia". They each play an instrument extremely well, given that they're part of the best band in the world. They are also part of a mafia, organized by the conductor who have them kill specific people. Of course, they're allowed to do their own thing and kill whoever they like as well, as long as they don't leave too much evidence, though the group has been together for quite a while giving each of them an amount of trust in each other. Here are the possible jobs. Multiple people working one job is okay, not including the mastermind and wild card.

Mastermind: Taken by the conductor.
Assassin: Assassinates those who the conductors order them to. Quiet and stealthy.
Mafiosos: Kills targets. Not quite as unnoticable as assassins, but still able to get by.
Forgers: Create fake documents and news to throw off the public.
Janitor: Cleans up the evidence and takes care of the dirty work.
Blackmailer: Blackmails people into doing their bidding, later sends either a mafioso or assassin to kill them.
Reporter: Popular with the media. Keeps tabs on whats going on around the world and reports back.
Interrogator: Finds out the information they need, at any cost.
The Wild Card (maximum of 2): Fills whatever job is needed. A jack of all trades.

Keep in mind that no matter their job, each member can still fill the role of a mafioso. They each have some experience in wielding their instrument as a weapon and are allowed to do their own thing whenever they want. Their job is just their overall part in the plan.

The main plot is that the conductor has gone missing, but has really been kidnapped by the government. A few members of the mafia may be working for the government, and just when everything in the plan is in place things are falling apart. Everyone must work together to drive out the government once and for all, or let them take over the most powerful mafia that has ever existed.

The name of the band is The Perdendosi (suggested by Sojourner's Fray)

Wiping the last drop of blood off the floor, Clove smiled proudly at her work. After a few hours of cleaning, there was finally no evidence that anyone was killed on the rigid floor of this private parking lot. Tossing a shovel onto the floor, she wondered what time it might be. As always, she had woken up early to get her job done, so no one would be awake to witness it. Glancing outside, the sun was already up, and its position meant it would probably be around 8 am right now. Hastily, the musician went through everything she had to do today. Was there a rehearsal soon? Right, there was one at 11 am, meaning she still had some time to kill. The concert hall was a few blocks away from where she was now, so it wouldn't be that long of a walk this time.

Taking a quick check around the parking lot to make sure she didn't miss anything, Clove casually strolled back to the concert hall, entering backstage. Tossing a dirty purple backpack aside, the janitor took the stairs down into the basement, brushing past all weird murder things they have stored before placing her flute on the instrument shelf. Not everyone chose to use it, but it was normally the most convenient option for her.

For a moment, Clove wondered whether she should hang around here or at her apartment. Every band member was given a room and bathroom, though not all of them chose to use them. Clove, mostly slept at her apartment but occasionally stayed here over night. It really depended on what would be the most helpful for her at the moment.

Laying on the instrument shelf was a conducting stick.

The unkempt brunette robe and slipper-clad young women was reclined back on the wall seemingly comfortable despite being on the floor. Though she was dressed in her regular clothes underneath the thick warm outer layer. Her arms rested on her midsection held in place with locked fingers together. One leg was up crossed over the opposite knee and allowed to dangle in mid air. The hanging foot flexing down over and over like she was tapping her foot in the air. Every so often it would sway from side to side in long drawn out dramatic sweeps. The young women rested her head back against the wall with her eyes closed and a smile pulling upwards at the corner of her lips in pleasure. From her ears hung a pair of noise-isolating black ear buds which, upon closer inspection, one would see were plugged into the jack of a smartphone at her side on the floor. A hum escaped as she went along with the wordless music playing loud in her ears. Her body rocked slightly to the music. All in all the brunette looked rather comfortable relaxed siting back up against the basement wall.
