Ability: can do what he calls “beast summoning”; he can summon a beast to aid him and control them to a good extent. If he concentrates then he can see through their eyes and sometimes act on their part (ex: move as the animal, look through a certain place). The downsides to this ability is that while acting on behalf of the creature his body will be completely defenseless by itself, he has to have a very good understanding of the animal he summons as well as its abilities, it can last up to around half an hour before it fades, and if put in harms way, the animal will ignore his instructions and act how it normally would in that situation. The bigger the beast he summons, the more energy is drained from him.

Appearance: Tall, dark haired, and stocky in build, Caleb looks like he could easily pass any sort of physical assessment. Except he’s actually weak as heck bc he was a picky eater and refused to eat the insect powder for the longest time. Aside from being somewhat scrawny though, he usually doesn’t look to bad, and he spends most of the time he spends on his appearance on his hair. Caleb’s hair is black and kind of spiky, which is a style he’s rather fond of and naturally sports, and he always keeps it the same semi-short length as to not interfere with training and the like.
His skin is pretty pale, probably helped by the staying indoors a lot, and his eyes are a dark blue-green. He rarely looks extremely friendly since his resting face is that of a bored-crossed-with-apathetic late teen (so basically rbf), and due to his introverted nature, he has not tried to change it. Aside from all of the generic details, Caleb also has a few scars from training scattered about him, the most noticeable being a rather large strike on his right shoulder. This impairs his arm a bit but he has learned to use it without too much damage.

Personality: Caleb, while his looks could be intimidating, is actually just a friendly but quiet introvert. He’ll stand up for what he believes in and can actually be a pretty good leader, however he does have a bit of shyness to him around new people. The Phoenix squad members would probably know him as trusted and open-minded, since his opinions on everything are kind of in the middle and he likes to judge a situation by all sides instead of just one. That being said, he is extremely protective of his teammates and whoever he believes is innocent, but he won’t show it unless the case is dire.
This kid can be easily irritated but has a very low temper. If it gets to the point that he is actually angry the event would have been big or gone on for a long time, and he will call the person out on it but won’t actually throw hands unless in defense. He typically favors thinking and planning out things before they happen and mentally rehearses conversations before he has them, because he is a pretty shy dude.

Strengths: he’s an instinct-led and quick thinker, he has quick movements, has a lot of muscle movement for parkour-type movements, the strengths with his abilities (includes getting along with animals that weren’t created with his powers), good team worker and leadership roles
Weaknesses: his physical strength, kind of slow reflexes, pretty much asleep if he’s using his abilities, the weaknesses of his ability, he doesn’t have a whole lot of stamina physically or for his power, is still kind of a picky eater, not the best in social situations

Onyx AppearanceName: Onyx Carriado

Ability: ‘acrobat’ - essentially they can flip, swing, and climb around and are basically a parkour master. At times it appears they can even walk up walls, though they will always just say it’s a trick of the light. Though they cannot actually manipulate their body in any way, they are extremely flexible and can pretty much get anywhere they would like. They also seem to have strong bursts of energy, can jump higher than the norm, and always seems to land on their feet if they fall.
District trait: Sixney; they have sharp hearing and even have slightly pointed ears!
Appearance: Onyx has dark, Raven-hued hair that sits messily on their head. It goes a little past their ears when they have their ponytail in (which is usually the case). Their complexion is slightly darker than fair, and their eyes are a deep violet. Their eyes also seem to have a knowing glint in them, and even reflect light like an animal’s for some reason. Onyx’s build is extremely Lethe and cat-like, and though they only stand at the height of 5’6” they have an extremely flexible torso and limbs. When given the choice for their clothing, Onyx doesn’t have too much of an opinion so long as the outfit is sharp. They also prefer apparel that wraps around their neck, namely things like scarves and necklaces.
Personality: Overall fairly friendly and attention-loving, though will not blatantly go out of the way to seek it out. Onyx does enjoy social activity, particularly word play, flirting, riddles, and tongue-twisters. They find amusement in the bewilderment of others and consider themself an extrovert despite their calm nature. Onyx can be a tad lazy at times and will not avoid short cuts. Though they do not speak unnecessarily a lot, they do voice their concerns and complaints whenever they wish. This kid will not start trouble, however if there is any then they will seek it out. As a very curious individual they only watch it most of the time but if it is fun or beneficial to them they can also join in on teasing or annoyance. A large part of Onyx’s personality is their charisma- though they do have their moments, Onyx has a lot of empathy and is extremely talented with reading the mood. This makes them very easy to like and talk to, and they rarely overstep boundaries. This does not mean they will not make snide comments to the other teenagers they have gotten used to living with. Their feelings are somewhat of a lockbox, so it can be hard to tell when that mischievous grin that seems to always be on their face is genuine or not. They also haven’t spoken to anyone about any strong emotions pretty much ever, so their true intentions toward everyone are kind of shrouded in mystery.
